Agreed. The skin selection sucks, but have you seen the endless list of banners you can pick from for your nameplate? They all pretty much suck but I was surprised by how many there were.

I didn't ask, but it sounded seriously bad. In other news, I played a match a few minutes ago where 2 guys said how the blue tiger looking character is way overpowered and needs to be nerfed. So the next game I played him and got my first 1st place win

Is there a mute button anywhere in Destruction All-Stars??? Just about every game I play its like people don't realize their controller is broadcasting for everyone to hear. A guy last night had the biggest coughing fit in the middle of a match. His cough overpowered the game audio so loudly my only option was to turn my headphones all the way down during the match.

Guess that makes sense. I think my lingering question then is when I had both versions downloaded and installed, I couldn't find a way to launch the UE. Went up and down the installed games list and just vanilla Control was listed. Maybe checking game options would have given me an option to launch the UE? I don't know, they sure don't make this shit clear enough lol.

My problem stems from me expecting my current install of Control was going to update itself. Then the other promise from Sony that a message would pop up on screen if you were about to launch the PS4 version of a game when the PS5 version is is available(i think they added that in a firmware update).

Anybody try Destruction All-Stars yet? I'm fairly neutral on it so far. The gameplay is fine. Drifting definitely helps keep you alive. Jamming the handbrake and coming to a full stop and turn will get you smashed big time. The game is pretty, shiny, and "the numbers keep going up" at the end of each round. But I can't say I'm super hooked or anything. Text can be hard to read when you are picking a character/vehicle. The skins you can unlock aren't very impressive. It's fun but I don't see myself getting hooked like Rocket League or Apex.

Maybe they will bring back the freedom that Battlefield 2 had. Where you could actually run up to a jet or helicopter and take off. Plus actually have space to fly around a sprawling map . The newer games never felt right to me. Like you fly so fast you barely have time to line up a shot before you're flying out of bounds or into the ground.

OK so the Ultimate Edition is out. I started by "checking for update". There are no updates. Go to the store and I see I can download the UE and it downloads fine. I launch Control and go to video settings and there are no video settings to adjust. Exit out of the game to see it just says Control. I tab over to Installed Games and it just says Control. I go to my Storage settings to see both versions of Control are installed but there is no icon for me to launch the UE. So I uninstalled the standard version from the storage settings. Now the Control icon magically says Control Ultimate Edition. This version loads much faster through the start up screens and there are video settings to adjust. Was I expecting too much by thinking it would be easy?

I had a friend who was obsessed with these games at the time. Other than him I never knew anyone else that played them.

I find it hard to believe a company as large as Subway has been shipping imitation tuna all this time and no one on the inside ever spoke up.

Modern Warfare is last years Call Of Duty. Modern Warfare Remastered is actually 2007's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

It looks alright. As the video went on, I found myself wondering if the game will actually be as fun as all the clips thrown together make it look. Or if it ends up being more frustrating getting blown up left and right. Or how clunky it might feel trying to platform your way back to another car. I'm interested to find out.

I just bought it a few weeks ago. I've bought the game twice on sale only to be slapped in the balls each time. The first purchase I bought the standard edition on sale for $20. A few weeks later they announced the Ultimate Edition so I waited. I just bought that on sale for $20 barely a month ago. Now I feel like I got taken advantage of. I know the game will be worth the $40 I paid. Just a low blow to see it will be free..

In this crazy world we live in, I could see it going either way. The daughter trying to set up the mom to get her out of her life. Or the mom, finding nudes on her phone, decides to spite her daughter and post them anonymously online. I don't follow Twitter much, did Twitter show who posted the picture? It said the pic was posted in a Twitter fleet and I don't even know what that is lol.

I think Miles was one of the games being mentioned at release to be freezing up while an external drive was plugged in. I feel like Sony would have definitely had a firmware by now to clear those issues up. But I can't say for sure.

I remember giving that demo disc to a friend in high school. Neither of us knew about the problem it had and he came back to school the next day and said how he lost all his saves. I think i had just bought the magazine and let him borrow the demo disc to play first. Felt really bad.

Do we need to worry that Sony will follow and raise PS+ to $120 a year?

Yeah I never would have guessed this demo had ray tracing. Like you mentioned that mirror was basically non existent. Then as you are leaving the dungeon area you walk into this really small room with a flaming chandelier hanging. You can push it around and I didn't see anything impressive going on with that either. It is a cross gen game so I'm probably just expecting too much.

Yeah I think as long as Microsoft keeps the price below Netflix they will avoid most controversy when upping the price. 4k Netflix is already $17.99 a month. MS has a few years of wiggle room as they gradually increase the price. I know i'm not looking to subscribe to another monthly service, but Game Pass is pretty attractive(for now anyways).

Just finished the demo. It was alright. Can't say much that hasn't already been said. It could be because I was a little tired while playing but something about the fov felt off in the earlier dungeon area. Felt like if I moved the camera too quickly I got a weird fish eye effect or the size of some objects on screen just didn't look right. And also like @Keyser_Sozesaid, I'm not quite sure if I'm the biggest fan of first person Resident Evil either. I know it works but... meh.

So it's $10 a month now....... BUT.... for only $5 more a month you can upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate! Guess that's one way to force everyone to switch over.

We all know the trouble the United States Postal Service has had lately. Have you been directly affected by this? My grandmother paid her Discover card by mail last month and they never received the check. My dad sent in a car payment by check that was never received. Yesterday I got a Christmas card in the mail that our friend said they dropped in the mail December 8th. Hoping if anyone here is doing any important business you have better luck.

Like others said, probably see a Dr. Do you do anything physical that would have caused it? I will say a bad sitting position alone can cause some crazy aches and pains over time. I had an older recliner that I sat on for years. Eventually I started getting a pain in one of my elbows from the arm rest. Some aching numbing pain that would linger. I think I recognized the armrest was the problem and started sitting at a slightly different angle on the chair which caused a bunch of other weird pains in places over time. Finally got rid of the chair.
