Maybe the power supply is making the noise? Even new out of the box it could have a slight defect. You could probably check YouTube for examples of a power supply buzzing or making a coil whine noise. The computer being so new, it's something that would be covered under warranty.

I would say I know 2 different families that lean toward the bad parenting side. The one that stands out the most is my wife's friend we hang out with occasionally. She had her first 2 kids in high school. She has 5 total now. The kids range in the ages of 2 to 17 years old. The two youngest who are like 2 and 3 years old really don't get the attention they deserve. Girl seems Iike she's emotionally done with having to deal with kids. She's 35 years old. If you do the math, she's already been a mom longer in her life than not.

I don't even want to think about November yet.

About time. They are going to sell a ton coming to Playstation. I haven't been doing much pc gaming lately. Due to aging hardware and expanding my home gym. My kids took over my Switch so I never see that anymore. I'll buy it day one when it comes out.

Why is this becoming the year of supply chain problems?

Guess it makes sense that it's cross gen. They aren't going to turn their back on all of those millions upon millions of ps4/xbox consoles. Still disappointing.

I avoid digital ones. The batteries always seem to be dead when I need them the most. I bought this one at an auto parts store years ago. Its got a nice heavy feel to it. The Sheetz gas stations and one grocery store in my area have these digital air pumps where you set the psi you want and it automatically fills it. They are always busy too because they are free. I always see people leaning on the tires with their hand, hunched over with their face about a foot away from the tire rim as they fill it. Makes me cringe everytime.

Any word if this is going to spread to more states or for how long? I have to get gas every 2 to 3 days for my business. This will be a much bigger problem for me than Covid was if it reaches PA and lasts a while.

So first thing, I got a rapid Covid test which came back negative and the test was sent away for the longer test which came back negative. Monday: Woke up and the dangly thing in the back of my throat (uvula) was swollen. No pain there or in the throat, just a weird discomfort because it was swollen. That went away by the end of the day. Tuesday: No symptoms Wednesday: Nasal discomfort. Nothing major. Wednesday night: Got in the shower and suddenly had a weird dull pain in my chest, kind of in the center but about 2 inches to the right. Pain gets worse and 3 hours later its midnight and every movement and every breath feels like I'm being stabbed in the chest on that center/right side. It hurt like hell but I just didn't have the feeling like it was life threatening. Still felt like I had energy/strength, just not really able to breathe without stabbing. I'm walking around pacing, not sure if it was worth a hospital visit sitting there for hours, also the cost... Thursday: I stuck it out till morning barely got 1-2 hours of sleep. Went to the Dr right when they opened. No fever, aches, or muscle pain. EKG heart reading perfectly fine, chest x-rays looked fine, rapid Covid test came back negative. They sent me to the emergency room only to rule out a blood clot because they weren't able to test for it there. Hospital does all the same tests and blood test came back negative for clots. At that point I have a slightly stuffy nose and the bad chest pain. They said I'm not dieing, try ibuprofen for a while and see how it goes. Friday-Sunday: Woke up and zero chest pain. Like it never ever happened. Now my nose is in full on cold/sinus mode. Friday was rough and Saturday was the same. Today I feel a lot better already. Covid test also came back negative. Family member on my wife's side said he experienced the same thing years ago. Sudden stabbing chest pain, rushed to hospital and they found nothing wrong. Next day he also had a cold. Some quick googling it sounds kind of like something called pleurisy but maybe not. I don't know, felt really fucked up and scary. I feel fortunate it wasn't serious. Is this the shit you get when you start getting older? I'm not into it.

Nothing about me on the 1st result page of Google and nothing on the image search. Take that stalkers! A majority of obituary listings came up with my name from other states. Also a police department haha.

I would say 2-3 hours a night 5 days a week. My wife gets me to bed early Wed and Saturday for "us" time. Definitely miss the days before kids where I could fit more games in and being open to trying more games. Lately I just stick to old favorites.

I could roll with that. I may have missed it in the story, but was it possible for the girl to change her grades or friends grades? There could be huge implications with that and she should definitely be charged with something for that.

Jeff mentioned many times this past year or two having to worry about being evacuated due to wildfires. Maybe he would be up to relocating.

We usually don't have power problems at my house but.....Friday we had strong wind in the area all day. Came home to a tree on my power lines in the back yard with a nice hole in my shed. They cut power a few times Saturday and Sunday dealing with multiple trees in the area. Definitely not a good launch weekend for a game like Returnal at my house haha.

Only Super Stardust HD, Dead Nation, and Resogun which I loved. Most of my concern comes down to not being able to save. If I'm reading the impressions right, for me to beat Returnal it would require me to sit there for at least 3-4 hours straight to beat a run. That's probably not happening in my house anytime soon sadly.

I almost caved and bought the game. As much as I want to try it, I don't think I'm going to get $70 worth of enjoyment out of it. I appreciate everyone's impressions though.

Somewhere I read there are 3 Acts in the game and a total of 6 different biomes to run through. Is that what you did?
