General Gaming Street Fighter V: Champion Edition OT
Bataar replied to Pikachu's topic in The Spawn Point
Man, I just never could get into SFV. SFIV was just so much better. -

Books Stephen King Book/Movie Thread
Bataar replied to ShreddieMercury's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
I've read The Stand and the first 6.25 books of The Dark Tower series. The Dark Tower just got so bad that I couldn't finish it despite making it to the last book. -
So I had pretty much decided to get a Switch, once they're available for normal cost. However, I have recently read about issues with the joy con controllers and drift. The implication was that it's not a matter of if the controller will go bad, but when. If it's that bad, I'll hold off, but I just wanted to see what your opinions are.

Hopefully they'll add the manual to THPS1.

General Gaming What is the Best Assassin's Creed Game?
Bataar replied to AbsolutSurgen's topic in The Spawn Point
AC 2 has the most memorable line from the entire franchise. "It's a me, Mario!" -
Review Tech USA is also speculating that the PS5 could be facing a serious delay:

Movies I recently rewatched The Dark Knight Trilogy.
Bataar replied to SaysWho?'s topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Batman Begins is my favorite of the trilogy. It might even be my favorite movie in general. I also really like TDKR. I might like it a little more than TDK just based on how it ties everything up. Heath's Joker was amazing, but I think Tom Hardy's Bane is very underappreciated. He's the scariest villain of the trilogy. -
General Gaming Who's your favorite fighting game character?

I loved Vega in Street Fighter IV, but didn't care for him at all in Street Fighter V. -
General Gaming Who's your favorite fighting game character?
Bataar posted a topic in The Spawn Point
Like the subject says, who's your favorite fighting game character? Obviously, it may not indicate your favorite fighting game, just the character. My favorite character is Ayane from the Dead or Alive series. She's just so much fun to use. -
I watched it on my Xbox One last night with no issues. Watched the first episode of The Mandalorian and then started in on The Simpsons. They have all the Simpsons there!

Obviously I haven't played every game that was released in 2018, but of the ones I have played, Rising Sun is easily my favorite. After Rising Sun, Vindication and Lords of Hellas would probable be the two runners up.

Saw it last night and loved it. I agree that it's probably better than half of the MCU films. This one probably tops Man of Steel as my favorite DCEU film.

Just picked up the One X and the load times are definitely faster.

Blood Rage is super fun. Add the Mystics of Midgard expansion right away. Those units are really fun. I still haven't played the Gods of Asgard expansion so I can't comment on that. If you like Blood Rage and Eric Lang's games in general, make sure you check out Rising Sun. Personally, I like it a little more than Blood Rage, but even if you like Blood Rage more, you'll probably still like it.

General Gaming Your worst gaming purchase experience?
Bataar replied to Zaku3's topic in The Spawn Point
After playing and loving the original Command & Conquer, back in 1995, I couldn't wait for it's sequel. Finally, four years later, on its launch day in 1999, I came home with Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun. I ended up being completely disappointed. For as much as I loved the first one and looked forward to this one, I think this is my biggest gaming disappointment. -
Movies Aladdin (2019) Trailer and Discussion Thread
Bataar replied to SaysWho?'s topic in The Performing Arts Centre
I agree about Jafar. I'm hoping that maybe he's using some kind of magical disguise to make him appear nicer and hide his evil appearance. Probably too much to hope for, but I'm going with it. -
It's in the Prime timeline of the JJ verse. There are essentially 3 timelines in Star Tre now: Cannon timeline - TOS, Animated, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT and all Star Trek movies prior to 2009. Prime Timeline - Referencedin the 2009 Star Trek movie. The "Prime" timeline is different than the cannon timeline because due to rights issues, Paramount had to keep it 25% different. Kelvin Timeline.
