  1. So now that it's hitting republicans, and pretty much entirely republicans, the far right talking heads suddenly are starting to give a shit. You wonder how many viewers he's losing a week from covid.
  2. Think I figured out the mystery of the glass on the 512gb model. Wacom also uses etched glass on its Cintiq, but unlike Apple, it's obviously designed to be touched.
  3. Finished the campaign mode in Wreckfest. Kept putting the game down, but once I got further into it, the races started becoming a lot more chaotic and fun. Not a bad racing game for people who enjoy them, but aren't too into the sim style of racing. The music is garbage in the game though, it's all sorts of alternative butt rock and I swear for a huge duration of the game, all I heard were nearly the same two songs being played over and over again.
  4. You have to wonder, with it being of basically the same glass type, Apple requires a special dry cloth for their Nano display, will Valve require such a special cleaning cloth as well? Ironically, if so, that special case could have a different interior to address the uniqueness of the glass. I think they should have offered it in a matte and glossy option personally. Calling the matte display "premium" is a bit of a stretch as it really comes down to personal preference. For me personally, I'd opt for a glossy display simply because it's a gaming handheld and I want all the contrast pop I can get.
  5. Plasma televisions were still on the market old.
  6. It would be easier than that. Phones are a pain in the ass since you have to remove the display first to get to it, from this you'd be working from the back. It can be a pain in the ass, but they're obviously going to deter people from doing it. I doubt it would be anything scary for people used to disassembling small electronics though. I admit, this makes me tempted to order the base model. My computer right now is so old I have no hope of playing modern PC games and this would certainly scratch my PC gaming itch.
  7. Strafe came out in 2017 and while it doesn't take the traditional FPS route as it's a roguelike, it's theming is that of a mid 90's FPS and hey, it's got a great trailer.
  8. This just came out today and it does seem a little bit convenient given the timing. Collectors Universe Expands Into Video Game Authentication & Grading with Acquisition of Wata Games WWW.BUSINESSWIRE.COM Collectors Universe, a leading provider of value-added authentication and grading services, announces it is expanding into the collectible video game
  9. Yeah, the reworked the controls in the remaster as one of the biggest complaints about the original was the frustration in regards to trying to sale the colossi. The PS4 edition has a much more modern set of controls to make it the climbing mechanics work a bit more predictably. I was all for the changes myself as Team ICO games in general always had lose controls.
  10. You should look the prices of those games up on eBay, a lot of games in the past year or so have seen drastic spikes in their value due to these happenings and people inflating prices online. Earthbound for example has shot up to almost $400 now despite the fact it wasn't long ago that you could easily find a copy for around $130. It's becoming a frustrating market to purchase old games in now that everybody is listing games at absurd asking prices and people are following their lead.
  11. More of a blanket statement, but developers need to stop including escort missions in good games. Nobody likes the action halted for a timed event while you have to protect somebody doing something such as repairing a shield. It's not fun, and nobody ever goes, wow, what an incredible experience that was. Everybody just looks forward to it being over because they're stressful and annoying. I'm pretty sure you can figure out a better way to artificially extend the length of a game.
  12. Something about this feels fishy and makes me wonder what's going on behind the scenes. I know this whole bullshit graded market was started by comic book collectors who inflated the hell out of comics looking for a new blood to go after, but this isn't a rare game, and given how well it sold, there are bound to be plenty of sealed copies sitting in boxes somewhere. While I'm really not concerned as to what these wealthy folks do with their money, when this bubble bursts, it's going to burst bad, and a lot of regular people are going to lose some serious money gambling on graded games. The video game market is never going to become the comic book market.
  13. If Jeff Bezos continues his reputation of having to one up others, I think we're in for a doozy of a speech that'll be even more sperated from the common folk than Bransons rant that Virgin Galactic makes space travel available for everyone.
  14. I pretty much live The Big Lebowski life at this point and do my drinking at the bowling alley. On the weekend, you can pay something like $20 to bowl all you want from 9pm to 2am and the beer is priced affordably too. That place is an anomaly for bowling alleys though as they're running two large bars out of it.
  15. Saw a guy I know on Facebook today referring to the door to door vaccine officials as conducting a dangerous eugenics experiment. I know that morbidly obese fuck is vaccinated even though he will not admit it as I know his employer, and they've always been strict on employees being vaccinated, but it's still insane he's attacking people who are trying to protect pieces of shit like himself who are walking billboards for at high risk for this disease.
  16. The billionaires dick measuring contest is all this is. Unless you're going to do something actually beneficial for humanity by going to space, than put that money into something that actually benefits the planet. Literally nobody gives a fuck about your my spaceship has larger windows and flys slightly higher drama. This is space tourism for the 1% so they can boast to all their friends that they're "astronauts".
  17. Never have I played a golf game with so much hand holding. I really, really, really hope despite Clap Hanz making a golf game for Apple Arcade, they'll be working with Sony in the future as that studio seems to be the only business out there who seems to understand the mechanics of making a fantastic golf game.
  18. It's just apart of our culture in the Midwest to be courteous in public, limiting our use of swear words. It's a whole other story when you're with friends or colleagues, then it's fuck this and fuck that every other word. Just go to a Midwest bar late at night and you'll see the cursing come out.
  19. I'm sure the major trucking companies such as CR England and Swift would hire them. Those companies are revolving doors for truckers, and rush people through training as quickly as they can to get them out on the road to start earning them money.
  20. It's unfortunate, I saw what others said and ignored it as I was desperate for a new golf game. Coming from Everybody's Golf, this game just isn't great.
  21. I have not ever admittedly ever cooked chicken that way. The closest I've come is using an Instapot which has been hit or miss when it comes to the chicken recipes I've used online.
  22. Do tell! I'm always on the lookout for new chicken recipes to make that meat more flavorful. I just fixed my grill too so I'm very anxious to fire it up again.
  23. Plenty of them, if you try them without being told what you're eating, you'd never actually know. They're a solid replacement for red meat when you have the craving for it. The only meat I eat consistently is chicken since I'm a runner and it's a good, cheap, and healthy source of protein for me.
