  1. I was going to get a Switch OLED, but then somebody broke into my Walmart account and made an order on my account without Walmart giving a single shit. No notification of a login and they didn't even require the person to enter a security number for the card. The card I used to pre-order it with is canceled and Walmart will not apply another card to it. All I can hope is they have a system in place like Best Buy, that when it goes to bill you, notifies you your payment needs to be updated or else it's no Switch for me.
  2. I just use the default theme, it's simple and easy on the eyes.
  3. Eurogamer just did a nice write-up refuting Evans crazy claims. They're in the early stages of testing the new model themselves. Thus far, without testing thermals yet, power and fan wise, it's behaving exactly the same as the launch model. Hands-on with the new PlayStation 5 CFI-1100 series console | Eurogamer.net WWW.EUROGAMER.NET
  4. As polished as those games might be, they all just kinda blurred together which isn't much of a surprise considering those three games were released in something like a 5 year span.
  5. I'd say it's more so scary than it is sad. This is a daily occurrence on Facebook where an image with some text affixed to it gets shared a million times over if it aligns with a users political ideology.
  6. I'm interested, but the art direction in this game just feels so bland. It's full of fun sights, but then they're spaced apart by giant spaces of beige. It also just don't really look "next-gen". The Giant Bomb video still makes me want to keep an eye on it, but I certainly hope it looks a lot better in person.
  7. Game looks interesting and could be a lot of fun, but I'm with everyone else in that the characters being children being a bizarre choice.
  8. I loved the first two, and am looking forward to this one as well, but if it reviews poorly, I'd probably wait for a price reduction at the least. While I never played that spinoff game as it just looked bland to me, it did make me wonder what direction the 3rd game would take.
  9. Here a tidal wave of conservatives screaming freedom as employers across the country begin to force vaccinations.
  10. With them saying reboot, does that mean it's returning to its roots, or is it going to stick with the comedy. I for one loved when Saints Row decided to jump the shark.
  11. Hope this is the first of many medical networks out there to make such a decision. Plenty of medical professionals are losing patience in dealing with the unvaccinated and by no means should they take a bed opposed to somebody who was responsible or is there for other reasons.
  12. And now the GOP is doing what they do best, and attempting to erase their history and tell their loyal base, we played no role in this.
  13. It's wonderful to see so many people aboard the plane, but my pandemic mind is fearful in regards to how many of them might lose their lives to covid after all of this.
  14. There's a bizarre cult following around this game claiming it to be a masterpiece and one of the best FPS titles ever made. I even watched a documentary on YouTube made by one of its fans pushing a claim that Lobotomy Software was one of the greatest game studios of the 90's. I owned the game back in those days and it was a fine game, but no part of me was ever like wow, this is clearly better than what's available on PC's. The only thing that stuck out was it was a huge step forward in figuring out FPS controls on a console. Still, that said, I am happy to play through it again and this is a big win for gamers wanting to try it as the old copies are unnecessarily expensive despite that game being a staple of the bargain bins back in the day.
  15. Of course Trump ended his latest attack with yet another false claim of the election being stolen. I wonder how many times he shit his diaper in the creation of this rant.
  16. My grandfather had the same colorblindness as you, seeing green as brown and vice versa. Surprisingly, he's the only family member I've known to be colorblind. The only other person I know who is colorblind is a friend of mine. He didn't realize how bad it was until I recommended De Blob to him when he was looking for a new platformer to play. He struggled to get through that one, but kept at it as he loved the gameplay. It was laugh watching him play it, repeatedly hearing him cite the game was helping him to learn colors.
  17. Might not be politically correct to say, but as a Michigander, it kinda feels good to see another state capitol in the news instead of mine for a rally being held by covidiots.
  18. Gotta love the consistent hypocrisy. The GOP wanted this, they rallied around it, but now that a Democrat did what was popular in their party, it's easy for them to pretend they were against it to drum up outrage amongst their constituents.
  19. The more I about the experiences playing this game, the more tempted I am to try it. I've just been hesitant as I never could get into their prior games, but this one seems almost unanimously loved.
  20. They really missed a golden opportunity to compare it to an Atari Lynx model 1. It's the chunkiest of the classic handhelds and is longer in size than even a Nintendo Switch.
  21. They seem to be just as confused about how matte displays work as ICP is in regards to magnets.
