If you're happy, I'd just stick with what you've got. Most of these releases by no means have become expensive afterwards as they're mostly being purchased by people looking for an affordable option, or "collectors" who think they're going to get rich off of them one day. People were panicking when they first started doing this with Metal Storm and it didn't have the slightest of impact on the price of the actual NES cart. The repo copies too, only really sell for what people originally paid for them. The only retro releases that have really seen jumps in price were original titles that have one-off runs such as Super Russian Roulette for the NES.

I live in one of the most humid parts of Michigan and it gets pretty hellish here throughout the summer. I leave the central air on 24/7 in my apartment, but I set it to around 74/75 during the day and around 70 at night. This building turns into an oven without it on. I am apart of an energy savings program with my electric company in which up to 14 times per season, they're able to adjust my thermostat between 2pm and 7pm. For being apart of it, I get a $20 gift card per season I participate.

General Gaming Crysis Remastered Trilogy coming this Fall to PC and consoles
vaxick replied to Brian's topic in The Spawn Point
I don't think I've ever had an urge to play any of the Crisis games again after finishing them. -
The Comcast hotspots saved my ass years back when my cable line degraded and until I could get a tech out, I was leeching internet off of a neighbors router in my apartment complex at the blazing speeds of 3mbps. Was sure fun trying to play Borderlands online with friends on that slow as snails connection. I dream of the day I can drop Comcast. I've been debating looking more into that T-Mobile 5g home internet as my apartment is within eyesight of a huge cell tower and I believe they have a 30 day free trial.

Seems like everybody is compacting about the narration in this game. Still want to give it a try, I'm holding off for a good sale.

General Gaming SFLUFAN's End of Summer Game Giveaway
vaxick replied to Commissar SFLUFAN's topic in The Spawn Point
I'm up at my families house right now and it's 39F outside right now. I fucked up coming up here in shorts and sandals. -
Sounds like it's worth wild picking up once it's at around $30.

It always amazes me how hateful this country is towards the people who make their food. I used to work in culinary from catering to yacht clubs. We got paid liked shit, worked to the bone, and expected to come back in the follow day despite not even having enough time to get 5 hours of sleep. It was infuriating hearing servers complain about lousy tips when I was in the back of the house working my ass off for pennies. I had to threaten to quit at times for raises because I knew the company couldn't afford to lose me. Love kitchen culture and the bonds you develop with those you work with, but fuck that industry. Dishwashers and cooks deserve a living wage and this shouldn't be a matter of discussion. People who have never worked in the service industry need to shut the fuck up because they have no idea what it's really like behind the scenes.

You'll be fine, and even if you do develop side effects, for nearly all of us, it was only for a single day. The symptoms I had were strong fatigue, body aches, especially in my legs (I'm a runner), nausea, and a fever that almost got to 100. Even though I describe it as a bad flu, not having a sore throat like in a typical illness makes it a heck of a lot easier to manage. Tylenol was a huge help for me, and a few hours before I went to sleep, the symptoms started to subside drastically. After that, it was just mild fatigue for a few days and a somewhat sore arm.

A number of years back my city installed bike lanes all over the downtown area. I actually believe it was a firm in San Francisco who mapped them out when the city was exploring such an idea. The conservatives who don't even live downtown to begin with bitch endlessly about them because they cannot handle having to drive in a narrower lane claiming they never see anybody using them.

General Gaming What's more powerful: your console or your PC?
vaxick replied to Paperclyp's topic in The Spawn Point
My console by a massive margin. I'm pretty sure it's been 8 years now since I last upgraded my PC. I had intended to upgrade, but then the world went to shit and at this point, I'll just wait till the whole shortage is over. -
Does any data exist to explain if those who are vaccinated are susceptible to long hauler complications. I get we're not going to end up in the hospital, but I don't want to be breathing unfiltered air if my ditching the mask could result in me becoming a long hauler. I find it frustrating the CDC could make such announcement without answering all questions.

Wait, Clap Hanz is still working on a new golf game for the PS5? I thought their story with PlayStation was over after they released that golf game on Apple Arcade. I sincerely hope we see a sequel to Everybody's Golf as I loved that game and I'd argue is the best golf franchise on the market. Well, at least for those of us who prefer a more arcade style of golf opposed to that of a sim.
