  1. I demand you turn in you Master Race card if you don't notice the input lag. I can notice the lag on local streaming with Steam or Nvidia's services, or hell if I'm at a friend's house I can tell when their TV isn't in "game mode". *whispers* But those methods, along with the Assassin's Creed Stadia demo, don't impact single player games too badly. Lag is there, but you can adjust to it.
  2. Good to know that I'm out of the loop. Hard to find older stories when every outlet is sharing this same new story. I don't particularly consider the term Indian derogatory, and I can't recall anyone ever using it as such. It's definitely a misnomer, though, and I don't see an emotionally-attachable reason for a sports team of Cleveland's locale to be beholden to it. It's just a name; change it. But, holy shit, the anti-BLM people are getting really mad over it, and I wanted to make sure this story actually had weight behind it.
  3. Several local news stations are reporting the following: https://www.wthitv.com/content/news/Indians-other-teams-pressured-after-Redskins-drop-nickname-571764221.html?fbclid=IwAR2rQo2-HGeJuD2rkkAbNn5RsaFxUW1kyJBoHj8GKn_rB-EVqJ4tAnskcLQ Seems like this activist is pushing the issue.
  4. Are there actually people wanting other organizations such as the Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Indians to follow suit with a name change? Or are news outlets being duped by fake outcries?
  5. Yep. I logged in at the general ubisoft website over an ago, but when I navigated to the stream it's showing that I'm logged out and won't let me sign in.
  6. Depends on the type of games you'll be playing. Single-player focused = Big screen TV Online multiplayer action = 27" monitor You also might be able to do both if you utilize tech like Steam Link or Nvidia's Gamestream. Keep the PC connected to your monitor and then stream whatever games you feel like to the big screen.
  7. And yet you can still do all of the things the meme says you can't (with Paypal, Venmo, etc), except of course the exchange can be tracked and potentially taxed. But... you are "supposed to" pay tax on cash transactions, and a legally-abiding citizen shouldn't give a shit about their money being tracked.
  8. I've seen two variants, both of which I suspect originated from fake personas (Russian?) just to incite the right. I tried to see if Dave Ramsey actually shared the "loss of freedom" sentiments and didn't find a real source. So no doubt someone probably just threw a known businessman's name onto the meme to make it appear credible.
  9. And yet this is one conspiracy that ring-wingers will call "fake" itself. Oh the irony. I would also bet there are similarly fake left-leaning articles as well, because divisiveness is the goal.
  10. "Guys maybe yes or maybe not he's racist, but now here is a list of other attributes about our Commander-in-Chief that make him incompetent as a leader."
  11. I just binged the show, and man I really did not expect this show to go where it did in that season 2 finale. I enjoyed almost every character, except
  12. Cool so they stay in your library. That's fair. Now what they should do is automatically add the games if you have a subscription. It's such a chore to go to the store to redeem them.
  13. What happens if there's a lapse in your subscription? When you re-start it do you get all of your previous PSPlus games back in your library, or do you start over?
  14. Voting 3rd party seems to be gaining traction, but I doubt it actually turns out to be significantly different than past results.
  15. A single-character focused title, in other than the Batman-related universe, is what I want. We should have a good Superman game by now. A Flash game that's faster-paced Prototype/Infamous, with some bullet and rewind time, is easily doable. Hell throw in some open-world shortcuts like GTA, maybe even a few Sonic-style platforming elements sprinkled about. And, well, a Wonder Woman game has practically already been made under a different name. Martian Manhunter's abilities are perfectly suited for (breaking) video games: No-clip activate! A game that covers all types of genres is possible with Manhunter, but a more tactical stealth game would be awesome. He's got invisibility so you can throw in stealth, along with walking through walls. You can turn enemies into allies/partners, distantly take complete control of a NPC, or shape-shift yourself into anyone. The most challenging character to nail the aspect of feeling like you are that hero would be Green Lantern - because imagination is key - but there are ways to do it.
  16. How do Trump supporters reconcile the should-be disillusion that they want to MAGA by cheering Trump as if he was a dictator - they want him to single handedly wield power into their wishes - in contrast to the basic structure this country was founded upon: All persons are equal and to enforce this belief there exists the separation of powers?
  17. Everyone needs to read that Polygon interview. If they actually implemented all of those mechanics into the game then this will have far more depth than Rogue Squadron and Starfighter Assault. Just having the ability to split or dedicate resources among Shields, Lasers, and Engines is beyond them, but then to add mechanics to these categories is a great evolution of the Tie Figher/X-Wing model. What makes TF/XW appear in depth is the granularity of control you have over where you spend your ship's resources. I doubt we'll ever see that fine-grained granularity, but then again we probably don't need to. Adding new ways to interact with the "environment", like the following quote suggests, is better than changing some number values.
