I can notice the lag on local streaming with Steam or Nvidia's services, or hell if I'm at a friend's house I can tell when their TV isn't in "game mode". *whispers* But those methods, along with the Assassin's Creed Stadia demo, don't impact single player games too badly. Lag is there, but you can adjust to it.

Single-player focused = Big screen TV Online multiplayer action = 27" monitor You also might be able to do both if you utilize tech like Steam Link or Nvidia's Gamestream. Keep the PC connected to your monitor and then stream whatever games you feel like to the big screen.
