But here we have an instance of good developers wasting time on shitty ports instead of providing new, meaningful experiences tailored to the platform. This is a win-win for the developers, who port over whatever the fuck they shit out of a compiler and then get praised for it being a "miracle" that it works, but gamers? I guess someone, somewhere out there is theoretically happy with this situation. As a Switch owner, I am not. I think this is bullshit and might set a very distressing trend of crappy ports that everyone praises despite the fact that they're unplayable blurry piles of shit.

CONCEPT ART MATERIALIZES NAME APPEARS GENERIC ASS MUSIC PLAYS ACTUAL GAMEPLAY IS LESS THAN 50% OF SCREEN SPACE OFF TO THE SIDE BECAUSE SEEING "JACK" IS MORE IMPORTANT EARLY VIDEO EDITING "FLIPPING THE VIDEO AROUND AS IT PLAYS" AND THEN ONLY LEAVING IT IN PLACE FOR A TENTH OF A SECOND SO THERE MAY AS WELL BE NO VIDEO It's charming in its own weird way.

I'm out there getting, if nothing else, at the very minimum my 10,000 steps every day. It's not the magic number some of those old articles pretended it is, but it's a good baseline to make sure you're walking for at least an hour and a half or so every day.

I thought God of War was really awesome, the combat was super fun. The puzzles were okay, but not amazing. The dialogue and story in general were very enjoyable. The game wasn't without flaws, same as any game, but I do look forward to how it will be improved upon in the sequel. We do see a great of example of over-hype, though. Even if you believe the game is every bit as good as you say it is, that's always going to set someone else's expectations much higher than is realistic, and thus we end up with disgruntled people who are unhappy that it wasn't the perfect game they saw in their mind's eye. It's easy to then think "Well that's their fault!" But is it? Part of the reason I think God of War is so good is because my expectations were it to be an okay Ubisoft-style game like Horizon was, and it was way better. Our expectations matter, a lot.

As a longtime Pokemon fan, I'm looking forward to Let's Go more than the mainline game at this point. I'm not sure if it'll be good or not, but it'll be different, and for fuck's sake, if Pokemon needs anything, it needs to stop being the exact same outdated piece of shit every release.

I hate shit like that. Not so much the old English, but the made-up idioms. Just use the normal idiom or make up a completely original one. Don't alter an existing one, that's so jarring and stupid. My preference is for them to just use a normal ass idiom. I'm totally fine, with, say, Final Fantasy characters saying "hold your horses" as opposed to "hold your chocobos." You just wrap your arms around my neck and pull me right out of the game when you do that. I'd rather vaguely think "Do they even have horses in this world?" over "Is it too late to get a refund?"

The Windows Edition IS the Royal Edition. Except with better graphics, performance and mod support.

Unity is a good engine, believe it or not. But that doesn't stop the people using it from being talentless hacks.

The second demo is just a time-limited version of the main game. You get to play for 3 hours and get as far as you want. Then your progress carries over. (Since it's just the full game) So it's more like an early start to the game than a demo, if I understand it correctly.
