    I really don't know why they don't just release all the episodes at once. I like the concept of an episodic structure in this sort of game to give the player some hard stops, but I don't see the necessity of an episodic release, especially when the game is totally finished.

    Is there a compelling reason other than owning Apple stock that somebody should support them in this?

    I'm giving it a month before I decide to buy any special peripherals for this just to make sure my enthusiasm doesn't get the better of me, but I'm not sure if I should go for a yoke or a flight stick. I'm kind of leaning yoke since I'm not terribly interested in combat sims and would rather have a more true to life experience in MSFS, but the broader uses of a stick are tempting.

    Great quick look featuring Drew. I hadn't delved too deep into the interiors and all the buttons that aren't on my controller, and it's cool seeing the absolutely disgusting depth that this game goes into.

    It's a weird one because the game is essentially a walking simulator, but I though Night in the Woods had a pretty surprising tactility to it. The environments all responded to you jumping on them in a satisfying way, and despite having very little platforming, Mae had a three jump combo similar to Mario games that made traversing the town entertaining.

    "Hmm, you weren't really supposed to land there. At this point, I think it's probably best we start the lesson over." The tutorial lady is awfully condescending. I haven't done a deep dive into the settings yet, but on a 1080/old Ryzen system I'm getting perfectly fine performance on the recommended high settings. Rumor has it you basically can't run the game at 4k ultra 60 fps with current hardware, but I would say I'm pleased with the performance so far, especially considering I haven't tweaked anything. The loading times are rough, although my installation is split across a HDD and SSD for whatever reason.

    Anyone else really struggling to get this game to download correctly through the windows Xbox app? Restarting your computer is a better solution than asking the internet.

    Maybe I'm just a millennial boomer, but back in my day we hated on Apple.

    It's kind of beside the point but I'm impressed how many people have talked themselves into taking Apple's side on this. I feel like a large number of these people are just holding Fortnite's success with younger gamers against Epic and knee jerk reacting against them.

    I am neither a lawyer nor a businessman, so I won't speculate on whether or not these companies are making smart/legal moves, but DAYUUM.

    I think I'm on SATA but I'll have to open up my pc to figure it out and make sure I have space. It could use a dusting out anyway.

    I cleaned out all my spare space on my ssd and am 7 gb short. Considering getting another ssd since I can install so few games on my 256 gb one anyway. I'm not going to lie, I want it.

    Cool that the reviewer is a pilot who can actually speak with some authority about the quality of the simulation.

    I've gotten unreasonably excited for this game. Watching some of the footage of it is unexpectedly emotional, and I really really hope that the game is as good as expected.

    How about the F-Zero feature where you can spin a roulette wheel and if you win your friend fucking dies.

    I really want them to give you something to do while spectating party members. I have a bunch of friends clamoring to play but I don't really enjoy all the waiting / feeling like I'm making people wait by continuing after the rest of my party is knocked out. It'd be fun if there was a little lobby for your party to go to after being knocked out with some objects to goof around with and a soccer goal.

    This virus stuff has got to end. I've been watching hours of 40k lore videos hoping they don't awaken something in me, and I feel my resolve to not get into Warhammer weakening.
