I think Diofield Chronicles was the most interesting thing they showed, and im also A fan of Valkyrie Chronicles, so im definitely interested in those two games, but im definitely looking forward to more returnal bullet hell.

Probably no scaling, im guessing maybe more enemies, but not stronger.

 

Coop Elden Ring doesn't scale enough imo. I helped a few random players with bosses, and they just melt to two players. I did Rykard with another guy, and the fight lasted maybe 90 seconds. Same thing when I helped someone with Commander Niall.

The tower here, from what I'm seeing, seems pretty damn close to a new biome gladly. There are new cutscenes, lore markers, a full new boss and apparently a couple new enemies as well from what I read. 

 

Shoot me your PSN and I'll add you. I won't be playing for a bit because of Elden Ring and Hunt but when I get into it, maybe we can try some Co-Op.

I think we exchanged ours and have seen each other online like twice because we both put it on Offline mode or whatever

Well I was really rusty, and when I jumped back in, it was the 4th Biome, not the 1st.  Died twice pretty quickly as the update reset my controls without me realizing it, and I was missing my dashes.  Went back to Biome 1 though and it is much gentler in easing you in.  Stopped when I hit the 3rd Biome again. 

 

Def looking forward to trying the Tower and some co-op though.  I def don't feel like I'm nearly as good as I was when it first launched though, gotta get used to the mechanics a bit more as I was getting hit way too much by the boss's.

I'd go for it but I have a busy-ass week too. How does it work anyway? I have the Plat and beat everything so...would I have to be invited in someone's game that hasn't beaten those areas? Or can anyone go anywhere

Not sure tbh. I just assumed you could probably invite people to play with you.

I finally got around to installing again and starting the Tower.

 

Christ man, this is REALLY good stuff and it's free. The hosoital segments are really eerie, almost forgot just how dark this game is.

 

I'm shaking the rust off damn. My second run I got to Phase 3 Room 20 with a score in the high 3mil though. No idea if that's good?

   Excited to play this game. I bought a unopened copy off eBay for 24.99 arrives Saturday! having some free DLC to add to it is a welcome addition.

Seriously, it's really good content. Also the added story and lore content is really good and possibly even creepier than the base game if there's such a thing. 

 

Also, I forgot if you were involved with figuring out some of the plot beats and so on but to me, this clarifies quite a few things so far. Well, as far as any of it can be trusted ever in this game.

   Played my first 3 hours late into the night and I got too say this is a pretty great game. So "New" feeling! I thought my PS5 controller was broken seriously when the left trigger mid pull stop activated...lol It sounds like the controller is broken if you just pull it past the stop. That's all I can think of to call it, very unexpected. There's a few minutes between where the controller action is activated and you find the rifle and the game then tells you about the mid pull action. I was worried, but I went back to the PS5 home screen and it's gone, back in game and it's back so I figured it out

 

I'm just about to be buried in the first wave of PS5 games I bought off eBay today and Tomorrow, this is going to be fun!

Some tips if you'd like!

 

I really recommend turning Auto-Run on. There's never a point in this game where you running isn't the best combat option. I also mapped Dash to L1 and Interact/Grapple to R1 and it helped me personally immensely. Game is more about movement and evasion than precision shooting, think of it more like a 3D Contra or something than a TPS and I think it'll be way easier to grasp

I shut off the Trigger thing immediately when I started playing.  Put the Alt Fire on R1 I think, and left L2 just for scoping in.  I haven't played many games that use the adaptive triggers but I dislike them.  Made L1 Dash.
