dualhunter
These are supposed to be the included versions of each game: Lion King: Genesis, SNES, Game Boy, Super Game Boy (the SNES Game Boy player with limited color support) and Japanese versions (I'm guessing for each system but maybe not). Aladdin: regular Genesis, Genesis Final Cut, Game Boy, Super Game Boy and Japanese versions (all systems?).
Kal-El814
I know it’s occasionally shit on, but I really liked the SNES Aladdin.
XxEvil AshxX
Are these worth it for someone who never played the originsls and thus has no nostalgia for them?
Biggie
Thanks for the warning. I’d hate to accidentally play one of these
legend
The Genesis Lion King was an amazing platformer. I'm not sure how many times I played through it when I was a kid, but it was a lot. I will probably get this just to see how badly I suck at it now.
HGLatinBoy
Not sure why the SNES aladdin wasn't included. Capcom issues perhaps?

The Genesis and SNES versions are the same game, btw.

Good to know, although wasn't the Genesis version at least a better version graphically? I have memories of the SNES one not being as good. maddux4163
I have a bevy of humble bundle games I’ve not redeemed over this year and would love it if anyone wanted to trade for the steam or PS4 version of this amazing title 🙂😘

You really notice dithering in places on the Genesis version. The sound was also overall noticeably better on SNES. It's the same game, with minor differences, depending on the capabilities of each system. But generally, the SNES version is regarded as superior due to the reasons I listed above. dualhunter
It's the Genesis version of Aladdin that has a reputation for having better graphics than the SNES version. I never played either one but from magazine screenshots back in the day I disagreed due to the dithering. More recently I saw video of both versions and the animation of the Genesis version does seem better but the dithering still sucks.
legend
I see. I checked out this head-to-head, and indeed you guys seem to be right that the SNES version looks a bit better:
CastlevaniaNut18
Yep. I have both versions and I suck at both. But The Lion King was my favorite childhood movie and I had the Genesis version as a kid so they're naturally in my collection today.

Not sure having a broken memory is better than being a fanoboy as a kid, but...
