BTW, I tried fighting Forlorn hound evergaol down in the south and couldn't beat him. I only get him down to half health. He is way too fast for me. I want that damn sword, too! Also, I took down Renalla about an hour ago. Thats my second rune, so I could "technically" go beat the game. But I am so, so many hours from that, and I definitely want all the Great Runes. Renalla was disappointingly easy. Roll and hack, roll and hack. I imagine it's harder for a mage class though. And now I can respec (when I find a certain item), though im not sure I care to do so, yet at least. Maybe later if I find awesome Confessor gear or something. Build is coming together I think I am a level or 2 away from the soft cap in Dex. Will move on to Endurance after. I two hand so str is good at 28 for now. Will focus in endurance. Stuff like going through Castle Morne, fighting a boss to the sound of crashing waves and whipping rain and then emerging from the castle to call your fucking ghostly goathorse to ride back up the hill you fought your way down earlier, games don't get cooler than this. I completely sucked the entire fight; straight up could not figure out the dodge timing. But, I had an advantage in damage differential so I was able to power through. - Listened to that guy in the Hold, took the teleporter to the northeast corner of the map, gave the guy his deathroot. No idea what any of it means, I don’t even remember who dropped the deathroot. - Tried to farm smithing stones; didn’t go so well. Gonna move on to the Atlus Plateau so I can do stuff more at my level and get lvl 5 and 5 smithing stones. Currently at +14 on my Halberd. TheLeon Posted March 2, 2022 Share Posted March 2, 2022 Finally went back to Godric and took him out. Stripped down to almost nothing so I could light roll and smacked him with my trusty Zweihander.
