I came in here expecting the Kirby snub.

It’s elden ring and then it’s everything else in terms of major publisher releases this year. 
 

There are some great indie games out this year that I haven’t played yet tho.

I need to finish Forbidden West before making a decision. If I had to choose now, it would be Elden Ring. I just can't get into Kirby as I never liked that character. It's just not my cup of tea.

After playing Forbidden West for over 23 hours now I can say it's my personal goty. 

 

Obviously this is just my option and you can't wrong with any title I mentioned.

I have actually and I've given that one about 20 hours so far ,but honestly, for me, Elen Ring is in its own class. It should be noted that I've been a Soulesborne nut ever since I paid $90.00 to inport the main land Chinese version (has english option) of Demon's Souls for PS3.

Elden Ring is far and away my #1 for the year. I haven’t played the other games listed, but I can’t imagine anything topping it.
