DC Comics reduces Latinos to their food in Hispanic Heritage Month covers, fans say WWW.NPR.ORG Latino comic book fans have taken to social media to call out DC Comics' latest attempt at appealing to their Latino fans. Art shows DC superheroes holding or eating a variety of Latin American foods. Let's take this awesome picture... ...but to make him more Mexican, let's give him a bag of tamales... It comes off as being very racist/stereotypical and very sad for some actual Latino heroes for kids like them. So what, they’re appealing to Trump fans only now?
