a couple of years ago I was at a party and Codenames: Black Edition (the “dirty words” version) got brought out. The word Salad was on the board and one of my cousins asked why Salad would be in the dirty version of the game. My brother explained it to her and she gasped and shrieked in horror. It made me laugh because she was 36-37 at the time and I couldn’t believe she had never heard of tossing the salad 😂

Wait, had never heard of the euphemism or didn’t even realize the act was a thing that happened?

I couldn't even make it through 10 seconds of her speech.

 

The current drama in this house is that my 12 year old son has been in a group text chain with about 50 other kids from his (then) grade school (now) middle school. He mostly finds it annoying and has it ghosted most of the time because it's mostly a bunch of lame girls being lame (according to him). It used to literally get like 500 posts a day. Anyway, someone posted this new "Ankha Zone" hardcore animal crossing porn video to it and a bunch of parents are freaking out. Good times.

Our kids don’t have fully functioning phones, so they can only iMessage, which can be restricted in ways sms can’t.
