Honestly pretty excited to see the SaGa/Final Fantasy Legends games finally get ported off the old Game Boy. Some of those are legit classics!

As a kid, I would also wonder how they could make a compelling Superman game. My only thought was to have Supes take on enemies that are well-versed in magic. Besides Kryptonite, magic seems to be his only other weakness. So you could still have access to all his powers, but the foes would be able to fight back without some dumb “Kryptonite is somewhere around here so Superman’s powers are lessened right now!” excuse. Either that, or the game takes place on another planet (Apokolypse?) where all the enemies are just as tough as Superman. Throw in some time-challenges to mix up the gameplay (fly from point A to point B in X-amount of time to stop a bomb from exploding/save someone/catch a falling building, whatever) and I think developers would have at least SOMETHING to start from and build upon. But I’m no developer so what do I know.

Yeah RE4 was an instant classic when it debuted on GCN back in 2005. As others have said, it took a very solid gameplay formula and continued to improve on it as the game progressed. Great sound design, tight controls and some of the best graphics of that generation are just icing on the cake. The story/narrative was kinda bogus but that’s Resident Evil for ya. What are ya gonna do?

@Jason Yeah, it was either 3DS or Wii U that they sold at a loss. I think the Wii U sold at a loss right from the start (apparently the Gamepad and it’s connectivity tech wasn’t cheap). But after the 3DS’s price cut maybe that was selling at a loss too? I honestly can’t remember and I’m too lazy to fact-check that right now, LOL. But yeah, Nintendo definitely watches their bottom line more than nearly any other company out there!

It's funny, I was wondering that the other day. It'll be interesting under leadership of the new president they have. And also that Nintendo doesn't have a dedicated handheld the support their console. Wonder if they'll do the "hybrid" thing again next gen. Also, was GCN really a failure? I mean sure, it was their least-selling console at the time, but it sold nearly as much as Xbox and let's face it nothing was beating PS2.

As someone who has never touched Pikmin 3...I'm down for this. The extra modes and content seem pretty cool even for returning fans. This would have been a better deal if it were the Pikmin Trilogy or something, but whatevs.

Yeah, mine's puffed up a little bit. Just ever so slightly, but it's there. The plastic cover won't stay attached to the system, so the battery is definitely not the same size it was when I bought it. I have the Slim model. Anyone got a good recommendation for a replacement? And where to buy it? Just...Amazon or something?

Yeah, probably didn't sell well. Ha, I haven't even broken the seal on the case yet. I was meaning to play it after I got through Persona 4 Golden on Vita...but I (still!) haven't completed it yet. But now I have Persona 5 Royal (I think that's what it's called) on PS4 so I'll probably just play that version, lol. Now....what to do with the PS3 version?

@BloodyHell - Just for clarification, do games like Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Persona 5 count as "PS4 exclusive?" Since FF7R is going to be released on Xbox One, and P5 is also on PS3? I'm pretty sure the only PS4 exclusive game (not counting a PC release) I've played is Street Fighter V. So I guess that automatically gets my vote.

Not a whole lot to get excited about in that Direct, other than the SMT games. Though oddly enough, despite how ugly it looks, that WWE game looks like it has potential to be fun. ....maybe? Bah, just give us the N64 games in HD, that’s all we really want anyway.

I could probably make a short list, but easily The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time surpasses them all. That said, I should mention: Metal Gear Solid Resident Evil 2 F-Zero X Spyro the Dragon Banjo-Kazooie Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Half-Life Those are the games I've played. A few SEGA Saturn games are noteworthy to mention that came out in that year, including: Panzer Dragoon Saga Radiant Silvergun Magic Knight Rayearth But I didn't play those. Only had a handful of Saturn games back in the day, to be honest. .....guess I ended up making a short list after all, lulz.

How long does it usually take CDKeys to get codes out? I ordered mine this morning and still haven't gotten anything! EDIT: Never mind, got a hold of Customer Service and they got everything taken care of. NEW QUESTION! So how does this Playstation thing work? Can I enter in both codes now and be set for the next two years? Or will I have to wait until my current subscription lapses, and then enter the code to re-subscribe?
