    I guess I’m just not a fan of the style. Too pixel-y or something for my taste. Lack of detail. Not a big deal, if the game is fun then graphics are “whatever” to me.

    @Ghost_MH Right on. Yeah that little handheld had a bunch of great fighters. It was so cool and that clicky stick is so satisfying, lol. This is (kinda) embarrassing, but to be honest, my favorite game on the system is actually...Pac-Man. Yeah, it’s a simple and classic game...but it’s also one I can play with one hand while chilling in a chair or whatever, haha. 😎

    Oh nice I know there are a handful of us NGPC owners here. But I always forget who they are, lol. I’m not aware of a good substitute for PC play, but playing some of these games on Switch feels okay. Have you tried those? Nothing beats the OG “clicky stick” IMO, though.

    @XxEvil AshxX It's never too late to get back into it! Especially since online play is a thing now. Also, it seems this game may be coming to all consoles, not just Switch.

    Wait...Banjo-Kazooie? On PS5? I did try to download the games again and this time it worked. Got Bloodborne too. There were a bunch of other games that caught my eye, but they take up a ton of space on the hard drive so I'll either just skip them or wait until I get an external hard drive for extra storage capacity.

    Yes. Santa delivered one to my son for Christmas. Came bundled with Spider-Man.

    I tried downloading a couple of games from the PS Store yesterday. I got one game downloaded (God of War) and then the console threw some random computer gibberish on screen and crashed itself. Awesome. Gonna try again today.

    Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Super Smash Bros. ULTIMATE for me.

    True, but at least that also included NEW Super Luigi U as well. If Nintendo really wanted to be a dick about it, they could have charged us $60 for NSMBU and then the additional $20 for NSLU on top of that. And at least there were some new gameplay gimmicks, a new power up and a new character to play as. Still pretty greasy, but not as greasy as they could have been. It would have been awesome to get a NEW Super Mario Bros. All-Stars though. Would have MUCH preferred THAT.

    That's kinda how I feel. I rented it from Blockbuster ( ! ) and beat the entire thing in a weekend. It was just "ok" at best, but it has a fanbase that truly loves it. And I don't understand why. I'm going to pick this new game up on release (because I'm an idiot). Hopefully this time around I'll "get" it.

    Oooo...this make me think a release on Switch is likely! SNK has released most (all?) of their recent fighting games on Switch, so I'm optimistic. But cautiously so, since they haven't announced any platforms yet (for whatever reason).

    If that's the case, then maybe they don't know what an "All-Star" is. Because if the reason Galaxy 2 wasn't included because it's not a star, then...nuts to that!

    Huh. Weird. If the entire back was black, then...fine? I guess? But if it's all red and only the kickstand is black...that's....kinda weird.

    I wanna see the back of the Switch itself. Does it have the normal Switch logo on it? Or some kind of Super Mario logo/emblem thing?

    Oh I don't care if Nintendo has to pay to get games on its console. That's their problem, not mine. But is that the story? Is Nintendo buying *all* of its "AAA" or "AA" third party exclusives? Let's not forget, the Switch is still getting a LOT of multiplat games, too. That's not a bad thing for them, right?
