Came across the Coleco port of Donkey Kong for the Atari 2600
Bitgod replied to Slug's topic in Retro Gaming
I remember bugging my parents enough to go take me to a store to buy the 2600 Pac-Man when it launched. Yes, it was bad. But it was Pac-Man at home, so good enough. -
Wow, I missed this story until now. I'm disappointed because it felt like this might be his nature, but that he had pulled himself away from it. But I guess, allegedly, he didn't. Also explains why I haven't seen him on Twitch in ages, not that I'd given it a second of thought until I saw this story. I thought they were married? I guess they were only engaged.

I've got a Retroid RP2+. Honestly don't use it that much, just once in a while. Started playing some Tetris again after watching the Tetris movie, just not the same as 30 years ago. Though I guess tbf, I was in a room at work 30 years ago, so it was play Game Boy or twiddle my thumbs.

Movies White House Plumbers, HBO May 1st 2023
Bitgod replied to Spork3245's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
"James W. McCord claimed that Dorothy told him that at a meeting with her husband's attorney, William O. Buttmann, she revealed that Hunt had information that would "blow the White House out of the water"." Ok, I think that's a typo. Though it remains to be seen if it was intentional or not. Probably more FBI dirty tricks. I found later reference to a "Bittman" and confirmed William Omar Bittman was a lawyer who prosecuted Hoffa and was involved with Watergate. -
Hmmm, so this does NOT involve a Fisher-Price stripper pole.

I've started playing it the past week. I agree it's too much discussion, like a JRPG, but I also like the writing, it's got many references and snark. I normally love exploring around and finding things, which this game seems to continuously throw at you, but I also find the game gives me motion sickness which I haven't run into in a while. I'm taking some advice from a thread regarding this issue and turned off motion blur and turned down depth to it's lowest. It helped, but it didn't totally go away. I'll try turning off depth to see if that makes a difference. This game feels like a 100 hour game at the rate I'm going.

General Gaming What are you playing today?

Dredge and Crab Champions. Hmm, must be seafood month. -
I haven't gotten far into it, so it may yet wear me down, but I like it. But I'm also a R&M fan, so there you go. Besides, the game has introduced me to Tammy and the T-Rex!

Television RIP in Peace, Westworld

HBO is just doing this so they don't have to pay residuals. So everyone should just help HBO save money and pirate their shows. -
He better have only 1 nut. Hmm, there's a new Bratz game too. I wonder which is worse.

Wow, has it been 2 years. And I still haven't checked my old handheld batteries.

Weird, I was using the Amazon launcher and only the ones I mentioned showed up. Why even have the stupid launcher then? Ahh, I see, the non-Amazon launcher games aren't what's showing up. Makes sense I guess. I just never remember what webpage to go to, it seems easier to check the launcher. but that won't help with everything.
-
Did they ever show up for you guys? I just checked now and Loom, Horace, and Hero's Hour are the only ones that showed up for me.

Hmm, the new games aren't showing up in my amazon launcher. At least this will be the middle-earth game that I don't already own.
