Rick and Morty used to have large gaps between seasons, but now that they have the big bucks and a full writing staff, they are supposed to be coming out with a new season much more regularly... like once a year... so we should probably expect a new season this year... although there hasn't been much news in that department, so maybe COVID weirdness caught up to them and there are delays.

I love hearing people bitch about mask mandates. They are meaningless around here. We have them in the city and surrounding suburbs, but as you go out further into the county there are zero mandates. In the parts with mandates, no one cares. There are big signs on the door that says MASKS REQUIRED BY LAW, blah blah, but inside the store, anywhere from 20-50% of people aren't wearing masks and literally no one is telling them to put one on. You get out to the county and the boonies and it's like 10-20% indoor masking at best. What are people even complaining about? You go to 10 stores maskless and maybe one of them someone asks you to put on a mask? TYRANNY! There are houses all around here with NO FEAR and RESIST TYRANNY yard signs. I can't imagine how miserable and stupid and selfish and awful these people must be. They may as well be hangin up a sign that says "I'M A SELFISH STUPID PEICE OF SHIT WITH DUMB STUPID OPINIONS WHO IS DUMB AND STUPID".

There was an animated show on Adult Swim recently as well. I watched an episode and a half and lost interest. It was painfully mediocre and felt like someone went to the trope store and filled up the cart.

I feel like there has to be more to this story... I don't fully understand what he's mad about nor do I care to spend much time figuring it out... but man does he sound like an unhinged asshole in that video. He really comes off sounding like a complete and total tool.

Can someone explain to me in plain English how adding a Switch Lite to our household would work? We pay for one $20 a year online subscription and all of our games on the main switch are digital. Can people share the online sub? They make this a total pain in the ass, right? You can't just share things or transfer games back and forth without jumping through ridiculous hoops? Right?

My true hope is that they eventually port his to mobile.

Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp is out for Nintendo Switch in April WWW.POLYGON.COM New details on the improved interface, turn structure, voiceover, and more Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, the remastered version of the first two games in the Advance Wars series for the Game Boy Advance, will release on April 8. Nintendo made the announcement Wednesday during a special Nintendo Direct presentation. They also dropped a new trailer. Highlights include voiceover for all of the games’ commanding officers. The graphics look glossy and much higher-resolution than the original. A custom map generator has been added, and you’ll be able to share those maps with other players online. A fast-forward button helps speed up gameplay, and there’s now an option to roll back your terrible choices and re-do entire turns. Both local and online multiplayer will be included as well. Re-Boot Camp is being developed for the Nintendo Switch by WayForward, the same group who helmed DuckTales: Remastered and Double Dragon Neon. The remaster was originally announced during E3 2021. It will include two discrete campaigns covering the events of Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising. Both games have been “reimagined and rebuilt” for modern players, according to Nintendo. Fans should expect lots of quality-of-life improvements and higher resolutions. Whether the game will take advantage of the Nintendo Switch’s touch screen is still unknown. It’s currently available for pre-order at $59.99.

I mean, okay. Sure I guess. I loved this show, but it got a little weird/bad toward the end. Not sure if we really need more. The world has a lot of Futurama.

Word on the street is that this is another Jackass movie delivering on all it's promises. I don't know if I'll see it in the theaters, but I can't wait to watch it.

I think we all had Omicron like 2 weeks ago, when my oldest had a cold for a day or two and then my youngest and I did. All of our symptoms were so mild and passed so quickly... and getting a PCR test was pretty much impossible at the time and but the time I was able to get one lined up we all felt fine so we just didn't bother. We just all isolated for a week and didn't worry about it. We took several at home tests and all came up negative. We're all vaxed to the max. My wife who had COVID (probably Delta) in early December didn't get sick. I know so many people who are getting sick now and having barely any symptoms at all.

I remember there being one episode that really really rubbed me the wrong way, but I think I blocked it out like some sort of traumatic incident. There was seriously a run of like 3-4 episodes that really left me feeling super down on the show. Like when your child makes some truly terrible life choice and you just can't deal with it. I really have not gone back. I probably watched every episode from seasons 1-3 like five times each. Season 4 at least twice... season 5? I had to stop because it was making me depressed. I think a lot of the problem is that it's going to be extremely hard to keep coming up with fresh ideas in this crazy universe. I worry that they are going to completely run out of steam during this 70 episode run or whatever we have coming up. I feel like this may have been one of those shows that would have been better going out on top, rather than fading out into oblivion of mediocrity...
