Maybe they'll just do a new series that doesn't require people to watch the previous ones. A soft reset. Daredevil is a popular character but the hard R Netflix show has a tough time squeezing into the MCU proper. I just can't see Disney pushing those on people. I always thought the over the top violence in most of the Netflix shows took away from the appeal. It felt forced and unnecessary.

I was "stealing" a Netflix sub for years... but we barely used it. A friend of mine logged into Netflix from my house and I just kept using it. When it got logged out I just started paying. I'm the sucker that pays for cable and streaming... but our streaming kinda comes and goes in waves. We pay for... Cable Netflix Amazon Prime HBO Max (came with ATT wireless) Disney + Crunchy Roll (my son is the only one who uses it)

I need to cancel my Netflix. I don't use it enough to justify the cost. I can just re-subscribe when they come out with some new stuff.

Been playing Dusk on Switch and holy crap do I love it. I LOVE these old school shooters and this one is fun as hell. once I be a this I need to go back and see what else I'm missing. I'm all in for modern retro shooters.

Season has been above average so far. 2 solid episodes (Token & Teenagers), 1 forgettable but okayish episode (city people) and 2 meh (pajama day and dressage). For modern South Park, that's a great batting average.

I get this choice, but it also sucks. But then again, I'm really not in a rush at all... because I'm not sure how much this game is going to really mean to me. I LOVE this series, but I actually play both of these games all the time (even today). So all this really is is a re-skin. I'm not sure how much it will hold my attention, especially since I've already played through both of these campaigns in the last few years. Again, my true hope and dream is that they port this to mobile. That's really all I want. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, it's all I've wanted since the first time I touched a smartphone... put Advance Wars on this.

Yeah, it funny, because 20-25 years ago I was always chasing after the newest thing because the computers back then couldn't keep up with my workload... but these days? I can do my job on a MacBook Air. And that's not even slumming it, like, yes, I do notice a difference with better hardware, but the bottleneck is me, not the CPU. Spending $4,000 on a Mac Studio vs $2,000 on a MacBook Pro (or even $1,000 on a MacBook Air) would probably save me like 30 seconds a week in compute time. It's just so not a big deal anymore.

I mean maybe, but I bet for 99% of what normal people do with computers the speed difference between the two wouldn't even be noticeable.

Unless you're a full time film editor or 3D animator, the ULTRA model is probably overkill. I really liked what the announced yesterday. It's finally the X-Mac, after all these years/decades. I'm happy to see the 27" iMac go. They were great computers, but attaching high end monitors to the computers themselves was was always so wasteful.

It sure was and I remember it very well. I bought it on September 10th and then drove into work the next day as the plane hit the pentagon about 3 miles from me. I'm a HUGE fan of the series and the two things are always strongly linked in my head.
