Gotta try No Return. I had one level where time slowed down every time I got a headshot. I was using the double barrel shotgun, and those exploding heads in slow mo was insane.

What’s funny is that his first post doesn’t say anything specific. It got a bunch of reacts, but it wasn’t until he came back and doubled down that anyone actually said anything to him.

Finished my first No Return run. Probably took longer than it should, considering they’re only 6 stages. It was with Jesse, who doesn’t have the most exciting starting kit, but he is able to but more stuff at the trading post between rounds, which turned out to really save my neck a couple different ways during the boss fight.

We only tease the ones we love.

Tried this the other day. Extremely not for me.

Yep, I’m about 9 hours into the story, and I’ve played a few hours of No Return, which is pretty addictive.

Hell yeah! I’m automatically interested in whatever this guy does. None of you motherfuckers played Immortality.

He’s basically a lock for Director at this point, and current front runner for Picture. He also has a good shot at Adapted Screenplay.

Oscar Nominations are in! America Ferrera getting nominated for Barbie but not Margot Robbie or Greta Gerwig is… something. Jodie Foster and Annette Benning nominated for a movie that you can’t prove to me is real. France is kicking themselves for not submitting Anatomy of a Fall for International Feature. The only BP nominee I haven’t seen yet is The Zone of Interest because it hasn’t expanded wide enough yet. It’s an incredibly solid lineup. Congrats to Oppenheimer!

The trick is to just have no hope or expectations.

I think I’m going to get a lot of play out of No Return. It starts off pretty basic but quickly starts layering in a bunch of mechanics. It feels like a really well thought out, complete mode, not just some bonus thing slapped together.

I’m downloading it now, but I don’t know when I’ll dedicate any real time to it.

People around here are freaking out because we might get two inches of snow tonight. I’m like come on, 2 inches is barely noticeable, I know this from experience.

I wake up sore all the time, but usually it’s explainable.

I've played a few hours of this, and I'm surprised by how much I dig it. The combat is a lot of fun once you get loaded up with abilities and different magic gun thingies. And I'm starting to get to the points where it opens up a bit more and lets you explore, which is fun too. It definitely benefits from lowered expectations and a single digit price tag, but it's feeling like a solid little game at the moment.
