  1. Getting back into Armored Core 6. I was only away from it for like 4 days, but that murdered my momentum.
  2. Don’t forget that she’s only “dating” Kelce so that when the Chiefs win the (rigged) Super Bowl, she will have a massive platform to endorse Biden. Because, you know, that’s the only way for her to get her message out to millions of people.
  3. He’s mentally competent enough to talk shit, how bad can he be?
  4. I didn’t want Biden. I wanted not-Trump. I didn’t even get a real chance to vote for anyone else in the 2020 primary, because everyone else had dropped out by then. But at least he’s just a slow old man. I don’t have to worry about him starting nuclear war from Twitter while taking his morning dump.
  5. Imagine how exhausting it must be to pretend to care about the Chiefs, even without all the jet lag. The woman is superhuman.
  6. In case you missed it, episode 5 will air tonight, because apparently some sports thing is happening Sunday night…
  7. I'm dogsitting this weekend, so I went to place that’s normally a little far for me. It’s called Two Cities, and their gimmick is that offer both New York and Chicago style pizza. I’ve had their New York variety, and it may not be “authentic”, but it’s darn good. This is a Chicago pie, and it’s been far too long since I’ve had real deep dish to compare, but this is also very good! Extremely filling. I’m usually a monster with pizza (and most food if we’re being honest), but this thing will easily last me three dinners.
  8. I was gonna say, I bet Vic has a phone that can run actual Elden Ring, he doesn’t need whatever Elder Scrolls Blades bullshit this will be.
  9. And they’ll GO BROKE (Seriously though, half of the episodes I watched had no ads at all, and the others only a 15 second spot before the episode started.)
  10. You do get a lot of high quality Donald Glover content (my guy looks incredible in a turtleneck), but the show is the premise, if that makes sense. If you really don’t like the basic idea of a spy team going around on missions while dealing with a real-ish marriage, then you probably won’t have a great time. I haven’t seen that movie in a long time, but I remember thinking it was fun. They change so much here I don’t know if it even makes sense to compare the two. This is probably a simpler starting point for a show - The Americans is one of my favorites and has a similar idea at its core (except of course we start with them like 15 years into their cover marriage).
  11. The 8 episode season dropped last weekend. I just finished, and I highly recommend it! Glover and Erskine have great chemistry, and the season takes its time exploring the weird dynamics of the setup. Plus a lot of fun guest stars.
  12. @TwinIon I’m sure that was a surreal experience. I read reports of opening weekend crowds booing every time a musical number started. It’s wild how poorly they marketed this movie.
  13. Saw this the other night. It’s a film to be “admired” more than “enjoyed”. There were some really interesting choices made that I thought were effective, but I can’t say I’m a big fan of the movie overall. I get it, it’s chilling to watch these people act so casually while unfathomable horrors are happening just over the fence. I got that from the trailer. Give me something else to latch onto, please. I was right in my earlier prediction that it’s too much of a capital-a “Art” film for me, the kind of thing I have a really hard time connecting to. But hey, not every movie is made for me, that’s fine.
  14. Yep. Had to be patient and dodge a lot while waiting for good opportunities to charge up and melee to take down its shield, then unload with my other weapons. What seemed impossible the first time I faced it ended up being a pretty fun fight!
  15. I got up to Balteus this morning. He gave me some trouble, so I took a break from him and went back and replayed some missions for extra cash and to try out different setups, trying to really get a feel for how swapping certain parts changes how my AC handles/performs. That’s one thing I’m appreciating so far. Granted I’m still just in chapter one, but so far it seems to be less about “get gud” and more “understand how all this shit really works”.
  16. This looks exactly like a game I’ll be really into for anywhere from 4-10 hours, then never touch again. But that’s more about me than the game.
  17. And down goes the Juggernaut! That was the first time I really had to tinker with my mech and adjust specifically to the mission (which I assume is the intended tutorial/skill check nature of that fight). Took me several tries, including restarting the mission once to buy new parts.
  18. My initial impression is that this game is fuckin’ rad, so I won’t mind taking the time needed to master it. I’ve never played anything like it, so I’m sure there will be a learning curve. Like the armored helicopter you fight right away, it stomped me the first couple times I fought it, but I realized I wasn’t staying in the air and dodging efficiently, so I took a couple minutes outside of combat to focus on how much I could boost/fly/dodge before I run out of energy and need to land. Getting a feel for that helped me beat it on the third attempt.
  19. Everyone should know by now that you operate on the classic IGN scale. Anything below an 8.0 Editor’s Choice is trash.
