So is the PS5 confirmed to support native 1440p output? I've been trying to find that info for awhile with no luck, I'd much rather have 1440p 60-120fps fps than 4k 30fps.

It's like 6+ weeks away though. I mean that's not an incredibly long time but it's enough time that a lot of people waiting for a 30 series will have gotten one by then.

This is one of those games that actually seems like it'd control better with KB+M than controller. Anyone have experience with both and can confirm or deny? I'm 100% picking it up but not sure if I'll got PC or Switch.

Welp, Newegg just fucked me. EVGA FTW back in stock I was all over it, added to cart, went to checkout and it told me password was incorrect and it wouldn't let me checkout as guest. A bunch of people are posting their order confirmations.

Most retailers sent the same email about PS5 preorders, I think it has more to do with the uncertainty of shipping speeds than overselling. If anyone has ordered anything shipped via USPS recently you know that they're literally weeks behind.

Yup, looks like Gigabyte, Zotac, Igame cheaped out and could cause problems. Asus, nVidia, and MSI went above and beyond and should be good to OC. EVGA went to spec and shouldn't crash but might become unstable when OCing.

Breakdown on the 3080s crashing:

I prefer nvidia, EVGA, and gigabyte if I have a choice. Zotac is the only one I wouldn't touch, have heard nothing but bad things also this is really petty but the name just sounds dumb. I can't believe the 3090 demand even after reviewers trashed it for the awful marketing and price:performance ratio. It obviously makes sense for some people especially if you use it for work but 200+ people lining up for it is ludicrous, the pandemic has made people quite unreasonable.

Honestly I was expecting the Series X and PS5 disc edition to cost $600. I think Sony for certain adjusted their prices according to MS. Sony waited it out for a reason.

I've owned a switch since launch it has been an amazing system and I really wanted a Switch Pro a year or 2 ago but at this point? Meh. There's really nothing they could add that'd make me upgrade. Instead they should focus on fixing their shitty joycons.

I stopped by micro centerto pick something up and thereis already like 30 people camping out for a 3090, its only 6:30pm the evening before lol

5 was an amazing game in that it allowed you accomplish your objectives a billion different ways, the only limit was your imagination, very Breath of the Wild-like in that aspect. Now the story on the other hand was pretty meh especially since fucking Konami didn't allow Kojima enough time to add the final mission before booting him out the door. It also had some of the weakest boss fights of any MGS game, but overall it's definitely still worth playing.
