You have to set it up to monitor only the out of stock button or text, you also have to use adblock or ads with give you false reports. It 100% works, it's the only way I was able to grab a 3080, a switch, and a PS4 at launch. You can try to use distil.io instead it does the exact same thing, the interface is a little less clunky but you also have less options. Final thing is don't set the refresh lower than 20 seconds on anything but amazon or you'll get flagged and have to enter like a captcha or something which will send up another false report. Amazon doesn't monitor traffic though so wail away.

Nintendo Nintendo says Joycon drift isn't a real problem.
thedarkstark replied to CastletonSnob's topic in The Spawn Point
Nintendo can go fuck themselves. I refuse to ever buy another piece of hardware from them until they rectify this situation. They went from having the most reliable hardware in the business to having by far the worst: I've had 3 different switches and 3 different pro controllers since launch: 1st switch got drift on both joycons after about 6 months of play, I replaced them, but they went bad too then the switch itself died about 1.5 years later from overheating Nintendo wanted $150 to fix it PLUS I had to cover the cost of shipping, so we're talking close to $200. Ended up just selling at as defective for about $120 and picked up a Lite. Naively I figured "there's no way they would ship a console with built in joycons that still drift right?" Wrong. Less than 4 months after getting a switch lite both joycons started to drift. Luckily this one was under warranty so I got my money back but still frustrating. First pro controller I picked up was DOA, returned it for another that worked for about 3 years but the bumpers stopped responding intermittently. If my current switch breaks or gets drift I'm done. -
I was initially really excited about this game but now I'm all but certain it's going to be an absolute trainwreck. Comes out in a month and nobody knows anything about it, very little footage has been shown, the minor details that have leaked have all been negative. It might eventually get patched up to be a solid product but this game is going to have a Destiny 1 / No Mans Sky / Fallout 76 type of launch.

just as an FYI for anyone thinking of going to Micro Center, they've been getting between 1-10 cards every few days (with smaller stores getting less). It almost always comes in on their fedex or UPS shipments which usually happen during business hours. You basically need to be lined up outside before the store opens or just be extremely lucky and get there when the shipment randomly comes in. I've spent more time than I care to admit trying to secure one via Micro Center. Hopefully tomorrow is the day.

Sony Best way to secure a PS5 pre order?
thedarkstark replied to eventide11's topic in The Spawn Point
Nope it's really easy. Page Monitor - Chrome Web Store CHROME.GOOGLE.COM Stays in the background and monitors web pages for changes. You just click "monitor" on the store page of the item you want and it will send you a notification of any changes at the interval you choose. It works best of you pick the specific part of the page you want to check changes for (the out of stock button typcially) And a site like amazon that doesn't throttle traffic you can set it to check every 5 seconds, most other retailers I set it to ping every 21 seconds but you can play around with that and probably set it to like 11 seconds and still be fine. It's way faster than nowinstock, most of the time by the time you get the ping from nowinstock the item has already been sold out for several minutes. -

Nowinstock is pretty garbage their refreah windows are too far apart, set up your own page monitor instead -
Set up chrome page monitor extension, set it to refresh amazon cards every 5 seconds, when it pinged I 1 touch ordered that badboy as fast as possible. There's also a discord server that has an instock bot that has been helping a lot of people get them. On a related note the RTX 3070 launch has been delayed to October 29th to "make more cards available at launch" GeForce RTX 3070 Availability Update WWW.NVIDIA.COM We’re changing the launch date of our next GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics card to October 29th.

You're right but non-skippable cutscenes should never be a thing. All story missions and legendary quests were really interesting so I never wanted to skip but all the normal tales were boring/generic af stories that I didn't care about at all. The monk guy storyline was also really lame and never grabbed me.

Not according to this guy, he said the cards with mlccs were crashing just as much as the ones with poscaps, although apparently a mix is good because they compliment each other by working at different frequencies. I'm no engineer this stuff is way over my head, but it seems pretty safe to purchase any card you can get your hands on and not having to worry about getting a faulty product.
