I honestly don't understand how it's viable for a trans student to be "out" at school but not at home. Not saying schools should explicitly go out of their way to notify parents, but there's still enough communications between schools/teachers and parents that it just doesn't seem tenable to refer to a student differently in different circumstances.

I beat Zelda last weekend so i had an opening for a game. Never played the original JA games, but played Back In Action and found it decent enough despite middling reception from fans of the series. Picked this up on a whim and have been having decent fun with it.

I honestly don't even know what a WarCraft IV would even look like at this point if they tried it. Blizzard games have such a problem where they start off with a really simple, tight, story. OG WarCraft was fucking Orcs, and fucking Humans, it was right there in the name. But all they know how to do is just make everything constantly escalate, constantly add a newer, bigger, greater threat to the point where the story of modern WoW is almost unrecognizable next to original WarCraft. Diablo was kind of the same way. Started off as just a dude going down through the floors of a church till ya got to Hell and killed ole man himself. StarCraft, by nature of being a intergalactic space war obviously starts out big in scope, so its not that big a deal, but I just don't know if I trust Blizzard's narrative chops these days.

I also partook in the 4TB WD SSD deal. When I bought a 4080 I lost access to the second PCIe slot that I was using for a third NVME drive. I'm also looking for a new microwave. Kinda looking at those combination convection microwaves so I can ditch my old toaster oven as well, but not sure if they're worth it.

Saw the ResetEra thread on this blow up. Too much to read through. But figure this must be some misunderstanding. I know there has been "friendly" fire incidents between Wagner and the Russian Army, but seems serious if it blows up bigger than that

Shocked that it seems like a straight remake. I assume there will be some level of additional content or changes, but seems like they're being faithful to the original. Only complaint I have is the combat UI looks a little to clean/modern. I think the borders, font, etc, ought to be a bit more stylized.

R/interestingasfuck was a fun ride while it lasted.

In my top 5 of all time, though I don't think I'd like the Octopath Traveler style visuals. I think those games look nice, but not a style I think I'd like for Chrono Trigger. I also hope its not Switch exclusive, that'd be a huge bummer.
