It's just my luck that the last two series I read back to back, was A Song of Fire and Ice and then The Kingkiller Chronicles. All I know is, I'm reading something from Sanderson next. That guy is a machine that always delivers. In any case, if book 3 comes out, I'll definitely read it. I enjoyed the first two. But there's no way he wraps up the intended story in 3 books. There would have to be a second trilogy for all of the present day stuff.

I would just use Echo products. Connect an Echo to the receiver. Done. That's actually what I do. I have my living room with my media center and in-wall / ceiling speakers. I have an Echo hooked up to my receiver, as well as my record player (depending on what mood I'm in). For rooms not wired to my receiver, I have Echos in them if I want multi-room or whole house audio playback. Honestly, a tablet is kind of out-dated imo. It's nice to visually see what's available, but 90% of the time you would just use your voice to play music and control the experience. It becomes annoying fumbling around for a device just to pause a track or make it louder. I also run a Plex server where I have my whole music collection stored. If I really needed a tablet experience I would get a really cheap tablet for the Plex app, and connect some kind of streaming device or Raspberry Pi to my receiver. Not really interested in getting in the expensive Apple ecosystem.

Weird that we all kind of took a break at the same time. Funny I never really planned on stopping, but kind of going through a weird point in my life so I haven't been playing anything lately.

Since I have xfinity, they sent me a free streaming box for Peacock. Can't really complain since I could have used one anyway. It's fine I guess. I'll just watch whatever movies or TV shows I find interesting, and continue using my PC for everything else.

I think the series got progressively worse with each entry, but conceptually I like the franchise, so a reboot would be welcomed.
