This post made me start the game all over again, because I really do like the combat system. One of few mainstream RPG's where you can actually die in a normal battle, and have to have at least some sort of thought or plan for a lot of random battles and the bosses as they are actually a challenge for the time you fight them. I should give 12 another try now, because I couldn't get into it the first time I played it but maybe I can now. But good lord the first "half" of this game is terrible. The story is mostly terrible. It really is running down a bunch of corridors, and it does take until basicially near the end of the game for the combat to open up and truly become enjoyable. I will say that with the X enhancement, the game does look really good in 4k, especially some of the cutscenes, like the big fight scene in chapter 7.

Yeah I only listened to the first so far, very good. I need to get around to the others. Also I should try and get my tickets to his virtual concerts, I tried when he first announced it but it was sold out but he kept adding tickets so I need to try again today.

How do you check the CARES Act unemployment thing? My GF got furloughed because of all of this and is on AZ unemploynment which apparently maxes out at $240 something a week. Today she got paid plus an additional $300 or so than last time. How do you check all this and find out exactly how much you are getting?

Playing more, but kind of stupidly. Started like 5 Dark Souls 3 builds, and yesterday started playing Final Fantasy XIII from scratch. If I was smarter about it I could definitely be clearing out my backlog better.

I've been saying for a couple months now it's for the RE4 remake. Give me that next gen with eye melting graphics and updated combat and I'm sure it will be good. I wouldn't be concerned after RE3R, 3 is just a worse game than 2, and they knocked the RE2R out of the park. 3R is worse because the original source material is worse. 4R will be fine, base it off what they did with 2R and not 3R. I am excite.

Then they have fucked up the marketing for this. I mean, I'm not necessarily against changes, but they've made this look like it was going to be FF7 with fancy graphics and "updated" combat. If it was going to be different, they could have presented that in some way.

The first boss of The Ringed City where you fight those two assholes who then become one asshole in the second phase. One of the assholes sprays some toxic mist at you in the first phase. I got close to doing it solo and I could probably plan for the toxic bs by switching things around, but I didn't feel like it so I just brought in an NPC summon to beat it.

My best run I just focused on his head and got him down to about half health. The rest haven't gone as well. I try to beat every boss solo to prove to myself I can do it. Except the Demon Prince fight, that fight is just stupid bullshit so I don't even feel bad summoning for that one. Part of me wants to go through the game like 4 more times with different builds but part of me is also wanting to move onto something else finally.

I went to one a few years ago, the audio was a speaker they hand you or a radio station you could turn to in your car, concessions was just a building at the end of the parking lot you go to.

Shit has gotten so bad that just driving around for an hour with nowhere to go felt good. Definitely sucks being stuck indoors all the time.

My quarantine time has been spent playing Dark Souls 3 because I never really did either DLC. I can cake walk the regular game but my scrublord noob ass can't beat Friede or Midir. Haven't gotten to Gael yet.
