Yoshi-P wants YOU to stop playing his game! FFXIV is notorious for content droughts with nothing to do. It is hard to be addicted to this game without some sort of personal issue. I'm only subbed to win a house. If it wasn't for the recent Data Center expansion, my World would have been out of plots like 4 weeks ago. As soon as PaissaDB shows no plots on my world, I'm out until either 6.3 or there is a plot for sale. It is stupid to only stay subbed for a house, but it is what it is. Housing is like one of the very last things I have to do. I still need to do Baldesion Arsenal, and I'd like to get the weapon and armor to +2. At some point I'll go for necromancer as well, but who knows when I'll do that. I would like to complete every major thing this game has to offer. I'm actually 90% of the way there. I won't do that last 10% anytime soon, and realistically, I'll never go for a real 100% as I have no interest in unlocking every achievement. Like, I do PvP every now and then, but I'm not going for any of those achievements. If they happen they happen. But, I'll never bother doing all the Grand Company shit for each grand company, or any of the fishing() shit.

The only comic books I own are Gears of War comics. And only like 3 or 4 plus a graphic novel in two parts

I can make a ham steak with a side and roll for like 15 bucks. 3-5 bucks is just for a whole pack of rolls cuz you can't buy just one. I mean, it isn't turkey, but turkey sucks. That's enough for two people in my book. A basic Lasagna, which is how I like it, will add up to about 15 bucks as well. That is the only thing I eat anymore during holiday dinners. That's good enough for 6 people to get a large slice.

It is a mediocre movie. Looked nice tho, during the first and last time I ever saw it. I won't be seeing the rest of this series.

Wow, I didn't even realize that I had this issue with the zone. What I mean by that is that I feel like I am just running around being bored. Like, nothing is even happening. I didn't even put it together how it oddly lacks the banter and such. Even Memer doesn't have much to say outside of the side quest portions. This place really feels like a side area. Or hell, it probably would have made a decent post-game exclusive area. It has no right being in my path of the main story. It really does feel like I am playing the desert portion of DA:I all over again.

Neither GoW is a masterpiece. I think I might prefer GoWR over Elden Ring, but without having beat GoWR, I'd give it a 7.9/10. That sounds like a joke but it isn't. I am really digging the story and the combat (most of the time), but there is a lot of stuff I am just not a fan of. There is the tedium of the fire zone combat challenges and having to redo the same ones over and over again to unlock the actual challenge you are going for. There is so much backtracking due to the side content and the side content is dished out horribly and it is unclear when you have missed something or haven't progressed far enough into the MSQ. Of course, the NPC's shitting on you the instant you don't solve a puzzle. And I don't mean that you are stuck. I hadn't even seen where I was supposed to go yet and was getting told, "If you do this thing with that thing we might be able to get across." Like fucker, I hadn't even see what you were talking about, I was literally opening a chest. The amount of delaying the player to their destination with frequent climbing, squeezing, or crawling you have to do to get from one area to the next. The over abundance of lootables and their animations. The game is basically open world unlike 2018's world. Main bosses are far too easy. Advanced weapon skills feel near useless, such as the hold R1 actions, and make you susceptible to danger. You really are better off mashing R1 or R2. Personal opinion, but I do not like the addition of more shields and their accessories. Another personal opinion, but the extra steps to solve the same "puzzle". Oh you can't just burn this bush, you gotta hit it with an arrow first and then burn it. Like, why? Vit seems like the only worthwhile secondary stat. I've ran high luck until I completed the combat challenges and then just switched to vit. There are improvements over 2018 as well. The biggest being enemy and boss verity. While you still fight the same bosses multiple times with a slight variation, there are way more different kinds that you fight over and over again. I've fought the Huntress boss like 4-5 times now, but I've also fought a bunch of other shit as well. Personally, I feel like they fixed most of the issues that 2018 had, but then created new issues 2018 didn't have. Some of their strengths became weaknesses. Not the story or characters which is prolly what people care about the most, but still. Really tho, giving this game anything less than a B feels slightly wrong. 7.9 is what I want to give it to send a message to devs that will never see it. I'll prolly give this game an 8/10 when all is said and done. It is a pretty great game most of the time, but it also really likes to fucking annoy me any chance it gets.

I'm only subbed atm in hopes that I can win a house. I log in to do a few chores as well, but that's all. Today I'll log in and: check my retainers, run a dungeon, do custom deliveries (12 crafts), go get my weekly free 40k gil, and do part of my Wondrous Tales.

ugh And also, I noticed it way earlier, but I am calling it out now, this game has done a very, very, bad thing. They made their game world like Dragon Age: Inquisition. And that new area I was talking about just makes it even more obvious.

Bethesda isn't putting out new games and so people are turning to pokemon to get their buggy mess.

I couldn't imagine playing this on GoW difficulty with how I play. I'd be getting fucked up even worse. Of course, if I was playing on GoW mode I'd be doing most of this shit post-game at Level 8 instead of 6. I'm already delaying a boss fights for later because they have boss level adds and I suck at dealing with groups of enemies that don't flinch when I attack them.

Pretty easy optional fight, except for the fact that I always get giga fucked up at the end for some reason. This is the worst performance I had too, but I still beat it. You can even see I almost die. I'm sad this wasn't one of my far better attempts where I played near flawlessly but still die at the end for no reason. I just suck big fuckin' donkey dick in this optional fight. I was also super tired and I couldn't even do the heavy axe return hit properly and kept shield bashing. This fight took me forever too because I kept thinking the one enemy became invulnerable when it was almost dead, but that mechanic transfers to the other enemy they join the fight. Basically, I thought there were two invulnerable enemies but there wasn't and so I kept avoiding the enemy that needed to die asap. When I figured out that first enemy could still be hurt it wasn't long before I beat it. Still played like a bitch tho. Speaking of playing like a bitch, in the same area, I was an omega coward and beat this fight by cheesing with range because I just wanted to beat it. All these boss fights with adds are fucking killing me. I even run around a bit looking for a health stone, but I have to do the hardest part of the fight while being 1hp so I cheesed instead of giving up. For some reason the clip goes on longer than I clipped it but whatever

I do have the bifrost chakrams leveled to max but that's really all I got now. I don't really do post-game stuff. When I beat a final boss I lose my desire to keep playing. I have to do all that I can do before I beat a game or else I won't do it.

Please only answer yes or no to this spoiler. Best funny moment in the game so far Optional Boss fight that kicked my ass for way to long and I still sucked when I beat it. My only excuse it just that I really wasn't in the mood to fight this when I had just fought one a bit ago in the same zone.

Man, I omega teared up

Man, I am like hard stuck at level 4. Prolly because I am doing side stuff which doesn't grant the majority of your weapon upgrades. I can upgrade a chest piece or both an arm and a leg, but that wouldn't put me at level 5 either. I only bring it up now cuz I've hit my first purple hp bar enemies and I'm too lazy to fight them until they are downgraded to at least orange.
