I could not into Disco Elysium. I even got quite far. But I just hated how long it took to get from place to place and boy were the themes not for me.

My manly gamer friends and I who passed most of our schooling with Cs and Ds totally agree with your BIL. We men are so smart and intelligent we skipped school all the time to play Halo and Gears.

I have half of my frozen pizza left, but I'm getting some Chinese takeout here in a few. Not sure if I'll eat my za today or even tomorrow as I think I might make lasagna tomorrow since I didn't get any yesterday.

Also got Platinum

Beat the other super boss. Probably only took 30-ish minutes to an hour. Got lucky on one spot of RNG that was probably the reason I won that round. Hard to say if this super boss was harder than the other one as pretty much everything I mastered during that fight was used here and I corrected some of my mistakes like saving my relic for the right time. But I also didn't have to use my Rez stone either and fucked up the boss. Video is in the spoiler tag. Not much to say as this is a boss that uses every attack and magic you have encountered up to this point and you should know how to avoid it or survive it if you don't. A lot of this fight had me stunning the boss out of things I wasn't sure how to avoid the right way. The only thing I'll talk about in the spoiler is how I got lucky which will be pretty short.

Beat the hardest or second hardest fight in the game.

Banjo felt like a chore to play as a kid. 64 was way better for fun.

Fallout 3 was important game for me as well. I had never played a game like it and I loved it at the time. Even though it was a single player game, I made good friends on XBL because of it. But like, I feel mentally sick when I try to replay it. Something about it is so off putting to me now. New Vegas had the same issue. I had to force myself to beat it because people said it was so good, and I just can't bring myself to like it.

It isn't my favorite game of all time. Hell, I didn't even do more that one play-thru. And I think the story, plot, themes, and such are weaker than in DOOM 2016 and I much prefer 2016's realistic less arcade-y enemy design. The DOOM Slayer (2016) is far cooler than Doom Guy (Eternal). But despite all of that, I have never played a more perfect game. It's the only game I think I have played that could get a 10/10 because the gameplay is perfect. Every other thing becomes irrelevant.

hmm, it is really hard to give a real top 10 1. FFXIV 2. LoZ: WW 3. LoZ: OoT 4. Dark Souls 5. Dragon Age: Origins 6. DOOM Eternal 7. Bloodborne 8. Halo 3 9. Fable Anniversary 10. Gears of War (unless I think of something better) Now, I'm not saying these are necessarily the best games I have ever played, but probably the most important. Like, FFXIV is in no way the actual greatest video game of all time, but I have more time invested into it than all of the other games in my top 10 combined. Halo 3 and Gears of War was my teenage years.

Thought about doing that, but as of right now, the two locations that exist here aren't open.
