A collection of games that defined the PS4 generation and yet not a single Yakuza game.

 

 

It is at least a nice starting collection for someone who might have not had a ps4 or many off those games.

Certainly inspires confidence that there won't be weird shenanigans with PS5 backward compatibility!

So they are showing some BC stuff here if all those games will work.  Will the games run better on the PS5? Take advantage of the hardware?

I have nearly all of those already. Just give some sort of boost mode or whatever on Bloodborne.

It will probably be the same like running games on the PS4 Pro, if the games support it you get access to that if not you can turn on the global system setting for a boost.

I already have almost all of those in my PS+ library already, but it's cool for anyone getting PS+ for the first time.

The PS Plus Collection was competing with Xbox Live Gold, if you go by the pricing.  Now that they’ve created premium subscription(s) tiers, Sony’s deciding that they need the base tier to be lumpy coal again.

 

It’s a sad thing when Nintendo online + expansion pack might actually be the best value for that $50-60 annual price range, content-wise.
