The Emmys failed to toss a coin to The Witcher (Polygon)

Quote

Geralt of Rivia was woefully unrepresented, despite his continued work slaying monsters across the Continent. With more obvious “prestige” series — and even The Mandalorian — filling up the top spots, the freshman action drama couldn’t squeeze into any acting, directing, or craft category. One overlooked aspect of the series feels especially egregious: Jaskier the Bard’s earworm single, “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher.”

I was so excited earlier today when they announced that The Watchmen had 26 nominations. I went to see if that was the record, but I found out that the record is actually held by the last season of GoT. I then said "fuck the Emmys" and carried on with my day.

I was just happy to see that What We Do in the Shadows got in for best comedy and 3 for writing. Although I think Mark Hamill should of received a guest appearance nod, and Matt Berry just for that episode alone.

Yes! What We Do in the Shadows is the funniest thing on TV, glad to see it get some noms, even if Mrs. Maisel wins them all.

I suspect that Watchmen and Succession will clean up the drama categories, and I'm good with that.
