Is chicken dry or wet? There is moisture and your hands would become slick depending on how greasy or moist said chicken is. Buttered toast feels wet on the side you buttered but dry on the side you don't. Noodles in a broth are wet, but what about stir-fried noodles? Or what about Jell-O? What about a sandwich with condiments like with mustard, mayo, ketchup, or an aioli?

Cats act like wet food is fucking crack it’s insane

Is there any truth behind soft food being healthier than dry food for cats? As in long term health as they age etc. A creepy dude at my work always tells me that.

I would say chicken is wet unless it was dried like jerky. Buttering toast makes it wet food. Stir fried noodles unless it was just the noodles and nothing else would be wet. Jell-o is wet, I don’t know why that one was asked. Sandwich is wet especially with that stuff.

Dry is more things like jerky, nuts, popcorn, seeds.

Thank you for at least staying in topic and not talking about your cats for some reason though.

Yes...ALWAYS because he is autistic as well. He repeats questions and talks about teenage girls all the time. He's 68 yrs old and I know for a fact this dude is into child porn. He is extremely creepy and has been disciplined numerous times for creepy shit.

For the dogs they get kibble, but mom always gives them human food with their supper meals too. Usually leftovers from the night before, but with Fozzie Bear still so-so on certain foods with his medication. We give him almost a cup of rice that we cook in some chicken broth for him. . . .and cause we feel bad, some for Buddy as well.

This just reminded me that when we were looking for our 2nd Golden Retriever pup. Some breeders out there won't let you have one of their pups UNLESS you kept them on a raw food diet. Needless to say, we did not go with that breeder

Oh well, I mean, that’s kind of an important thing to know in that regard. As far as the rest of this post, please allow me to slowly back away into the bushes ala homer in that gif.

The the obvious answer is wet. Pretty much everything is somewhat wet and if that makes it a wet food then wet the really the only choice. No matter how much I like chips, or jerky or popcorn, you can't beat chicken, pizza, dressing covered salad, sandwiches, or almost everything that is considered an entrée.

It's isn't a choice. Everyone is a wet food guy. The only reason to pick dry is because you think "wet" foods are "dry" foods. That or you are a filthy liar to likes to make things up on the internet.

I apologize for derailing the thread. I'm an obvious wet food guy because @Bacon makes a lot of sense.

I’ve never heard this before. Someone else in the thread said it too. I always give Waffles both just for some variety and because she loves wet food so it’s like a treat for her.

Yea, I was mixing in wet food for Elton and he really enjoyed it. But then I was told to stick to dry food and never looked back.
