With the way that Crazy Taxi works, I can’t really see how they’ll make an engaging, worthwhile experience. At release, it had that arcade, novelty experience that lasted a few hours…then that was it.

Went in my second run post-COVID-19 today. 3.2 miles, but ran at 7.30 pace, which for me is rapid. It also felt great. Bit of a race against time now to be half marathon ready (22nd of May), but I’ll do an easier run of the same distance tomorrow, then a long one this week to test my legs out.

On the final boss of Skyward Sword. Definitely should have 4 bottles (I have two) and I should definitely have got the best shield (I cannot be bothered - so this is quite a tricky fight. I’ve been close once, so my heart tells me I’ll do it first try tomorrow. Update: one sleep later and I beat the boss in less than a minute, getting hit once. Weird game Skyward Sword, as a Zelda game, it’s OK, but if this was a stand alone, not called Zelda game, it would be a massive 10/10. Funny what a legacy can do to perception.

I wonder how much money you’d need to put into that before you start (legal side, provision etc)

Finished All the Light We Cannot See. Fantastic book that could have carried on for another thousand pages and I’d have been happy. I then read The Cursed Child and it was good, now onto Fevre Dream (a G.R.R Martin novel pre-thrones) which has started really well. I want to read a teaching book I’ve had for a while as well this week.

I do not have an unfucked save. So, I found all the last bits in Skyward Sword and my reward is another silent realm. Oh well, I think a few more hours and I’ll be finished.

My parents and sister have owned (currently run) small scale businesses, so I’ve seen the rough and smooth - I just don’t have any good ideas or passions I could make money from.

Came back to the Isle of Man for a stag party, so I spent last night seeing all my school friends which was ace. Now at my parents and my wife is baking cup cakes with my daughter and niece, I’ve done a few jobs on our farm and feel horribly hungover - but very, very content. Edit: At home found a video of my parents 25th wedding anniversary. Always nice to hear my grandads voice nearly 20 years since he died.

I’m complete opposite and have found the controls fine (better than the Wii). The only thing that took some time was getting used to throwing and rolling.

We’re learning about Jewish festivals at school and just planning a few lessons on Exodus and Passover and it would be nice to include some real life impressions - what you do, what you eat, where you celebrate - that would be magic.
