  1. I wanted a mini game for losers where you fall down the plinko and then start a new race or something. though I just usually quit if I’m the only person left and we are only 1-2 rounds in
  2. Eh in KCD's case probably not. It probably strikes the right balance outside of being a bit clunky at first. I haven't played it, but Mount and Blade could probably be expanded upon in a more controlled environment where you are facing 1-3 enemies at a time.
  3. KCD has 6 attack options, it also includes a thrust. I'd probably say its a little cumbersome at first, but you'll get the hang of it eventually. Not trying to say SS isn't benefited by motion controls, but the actual fundamentals aren't different from other games on the market.
  4. Why not? Enemies hold a directional defense and you have find a different direction in order to land a hit, how is that fundamentally different than SS.
  5. Isn't the basically the combat in for honor and kingdom come deliverance?
  6. I wouldn't put it in the same boat as like Game of Thrones S7/8 bad, but I think it does have some downfalls. Unalaq is a terrible villain Korra get written into the same scenario of where she gets hot headed, goes against the people who are trying to help her, and she ends up in a terrible situation. The final 2 (maybe 3 don't really remember) episodes feel like I'm watching a Billy Mays commercial, "but wait there's more!" About to seal Vaatu, stopped, get the upper hand, lose the avatar spirit, turn into a giant kaiju, lose that fight, avatar spirit lives, finally defeat unalaq. Side stories kind of get pushed aside and jump around a lot. I thought the first season had a really unique dynamic with the non-energy bending movement and civil unrest. You have this backwoods type character coming into a big city to solve enormous problems and it all just kind of fizzles out after Amon get outed as a bender. You and Great have referenced how well S2 sets up S3, but I felt like there was no fallout from S1. As far as I recall they don't really do anything for non-benders or bridging that divide. Wan's episodes were fun. I'm not personally enthralled with how the Avatar is explained. ATLA felt like everything was about harmony and balance between the elements and the introduction of Raava/Vaatu make it feel like its just light vs dark. One cannot exist without the other, but Vaatu has no redeeming qualities. There is no balance to be struck between them its literally just good vs evil. Lion-turtles is not a complain I have. I didn't watch Avatar or Korra upon original broadcasts. Nor am I really frequent on peoples opinions of the series. I, for the most part, watched both series in the dark.
  7. The best way I can think to explain it is that no matter how good the third season will be, the series overall will be brought down by the second season. Maybe I'll move it up a little bit, but I still need to finish Dark S2 and 3.
  8. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. I'll probably go back and watch book 3 and 4 eventually, but I think I'll wait awhile so that I don't let my disappointment interfere with my enjoyment of the other seasons.
  9. Steam Link/remote play Anywhere let’s you stream on different networks no?
  10. No controller support on PS4 at all some how? Can't invert my controls, can't turn off vibration, how do you push out a game without controller support. Especially when you have it on PC?
  11. I think its a fuzzy line that doesn't really have a firm definition I guess? Like Spyro was rebuilt from the ground up, I would probably technically consider that a remake, but its the exact same game. Same thing with the original Kingdom Hearts, the lost most of the source code and had to just redo a lot of it.
  12. My issue was with how often the development team was quoted saying how faithful this game would be to the original game. You'll still hit all the same story beats as the original. Nomura did mention that they wouldn't do a 1:1 remake, but his examples were doing side missions for people or exploring more behind avalanche like Jesse. I get that they don't want to drop the bomb of we are totally reinventing why events are happening because of fate or whatever you want to call it, but the cause of every story beat is now changed, substantially in some cases. It feels like a cheap gotcha moment when you get to the end of the game.
  13. I think its a pretty interesting take on RTS focusing on survival rather than a traditional RTS. The campaign is alright, its not stellar, but the game is fun so.
  14. I still have a reservation for Final Fantasy Versus XIII at GameStop. I’m sure at this point it’s been cancelled, but as far as I’m aware I was never informed or given my $5 back. So I still consider it pre-ordered.
  15. Maybe They are Billions? They added a campaign and I just barley started playing a day or 2 ago. Though I'm not huge on RTS games so I have no idea how long I'm going to last playing. I have 10 or so games installed, but I don't really think any of them are feasible to beat in just a month (Witcher 3, Divinity 2, Kingdom Come). Maybe DQ: Builders 2 or Gravity Rush 2.
  16. I think at a surface level the Halo games tell enough of the story for it to be enjoyable and understandable to a point. The books just add a lot of context, backstories, lore, etc. Like how the original trilogy doesn't even tell you why the Covenant views humanity as heretical and an affront to their religion. I think Contact Harvest is the book that explores this a bit deeper? I've never actually read a Halo novel outside of Crytpum and Primordium. Where Cryptum is a joy learning about Forerunner society, Primordium is just a 400 page slog to read through. I was so burned out about halfway through. The polygon video is interesting though in that he enjoyed the Karen Traviss novels. Those aren't super well liked in the Halo community, at least from what I know. I'm going to guess that its "free to play" and "120 FPS on XSX". Not one in the same.
  17. I didn't want to double post so here is a new post by 343i https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/news/infinite-inquiries I feel like XBLG is a cash cow. Maybe not removing it, but pushing people more towards XGP like with how they got rid of the 12 month sub for Gold. Double EDIT: Apparently some "insiders" are confirming that it is indeed F2P and it will have a battlepass.
  18. I prefer ATV off road fury pro of the 2, but they both hit the itch I had for the series though. MX vs ATV just doesn't hit the same.
  19. I actually pulled mine out about a month ago because I was really itching to play ATV offroad fury. My PS2 is broke and I haven't bothered to buy another one so I bought the 2 ATV games cheap on eBay. Think I might go back and give peace walker a chance, a lot of people recommend it to me because of my love for Battle Network. TLDR: My battery is fine.
