To be fair to WoT, I have 10 or so friends/family that know nothing about the books and they all absolutely loved the show. Everyone that I know that the books was “I think this is actually pretty decent” until the last episode and then they got all pissed off. Im really curious to see how they do without a Covid interruption and without a major case member leaving mid season

I watched the first couple episodes. It’s fun. Will Arnett actually breaks and sorta laughs a few times so it gives it much more of a sketch/YouTube show kinda vibe. Def a few lol moments so far.

It’s not in the “favorite game of all time” discussion like DS1 is for me. But I still really really liked DS2. Kinda in the same way I really enjoyed Bioshock 2 despite it not being in the same class as 1

Probably a big reason they’re letting them keep their autonomy. But also who said it was a zero risk move? It’s also certainly possible Bungies next IP flops. But it’s also possible Blizzard(also completely devoid of talent atm) never regains it’s glory and Activisions IPs end up being worthless outside of a CoD which could also begin to decline. Everything has risk to it.

correct. this is a play for the future and what bungle could create in the future not the current. also for the fanboys it’s a little extra fun that Sony now owns the company that created MS flagship title.

I would be bummed for nostalgias sake but I’d get over it. But also…Nintendo will never not make hardware so I don’t think about it until this topic gets dragged up on message boards once a year.
