  1. Are there basically rom "bundles" available on the net or do you have to download each game separately. I'm sorry I know these are dumb questions probably but I haven't done any emulating beyond MAME over a decade ago. I'll probably go with PS1 Classic and just look up how to do it myself if I can easily find roms. Will also check into DS compatibility.
  2. Am I reading that wrong or do you mean even SNES Classic runs up to PS1? I've been looking into pre-loaded PS1 Classics on Ebay, yeah, and think I might go with that. Haven't seen any mention of DS games in any of them yet but will keep checking. I'd love to play the DS Castlevanias finally
  3. I should also mention I want to get a pre-loaded system on Ebay or somewhere, what do you guys think and do you have any recommendations per chance? It's a jungle out there and I have no idea about all this Raspberry, modded PS Classics and what not stuff. I kind of don't want to have to tinker with it but just throw money at it and go essentially. My priorities would be SNES, GBA, Neo Geo, Arcade/MAME, maybe PS1 and possibly even Nintendo DS for the Castlevania titles I haven't played. Any advice?
  4. The office structure, or whatever you'd call it, sounds like a fucking passive-aggressive nightmare.
  5. I wish they'd revive these types of games and also add some depth. I love Final Fight and SoR but this ultimately looks like it turned out to be little more than facelift. I would've loved to have seen them add a robust combo system, fleshed-out level design with branching paths like Final Fight 3 kind of attempted to do, and whatever else. These games were really fun but there's so much opportunity for cool additions to me.
  6. I've read everything about it in German so sometimes the English jargon evades me but makes sense. It's called Druckwasserreaktor in German. I don't really know the details though particularly, just was always fascinated by this monstrosity for the history. Also one of my uncles has a photo of himself and his pals working there in his living room haha.
  7. I thought some of you might find this interesting being currently a bit invested in this era in general. Two of my uncles worked on this never-finished Kernkraftwerk as it is called in German. This is in Stendal, East Germany. You can google more if interested in photos. Stendal (GDR/DDR) Nuclear Power Plant And a rather striking photo I've seen around the net for many years. This is during the construction phase so probably around the mid-to-late 80's. Edit: Gladly, after the wall the city saw a lot of renovation and so forth. I've been back several times since and was happy to report to my family that it looks rather beautiful these days.
  8. This is the first time I've been interested in one of these Marvel/Superhero whatever flicks simply because bad movies are funny.
  9. I'm no expert but that sounds fucking impressive for a (previously?) niche title like this, no?
  10. I like how the idea behind this is so obvious that the dude couldn't even control himself from throwing in "patriotic" totally at random. Dude: "STRAIGHT...........PRIIIDDEEE........" Edit: I'm close enough to Boston where I'm almost tempted to go out of pure morbid curiosity, incognito as a gay man of course.
  11. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt because I think The Surge is actually a great game so I hope so. Those statues and the whole forest/overgrown setting is like they're veering the wrong way back towards Souls.
  12. Still baffled they keep showing off that forest setting over and over. Are they trying to make the sequel more of a Souls rip?
  13. Well yeah. Clickbait in all forms is exploitative National Enquirer bullshit.
  14. Does that still call for the murder of all boomers or...no...? Someone update me on that front. I'm asking the tough question tonight, folks. Even for Donald Trump, this sounded much too outlandish and absurd.
  15. It doesn't get as bogged down in soap opera dramatics which ultimately makes it more enjoyable I think with repeat viewings.
