  1. If you can’t afford a console outright, it sounds like a bad idea to be financing one. I feel the same about phones. Its usually not a deal to your benefit in the long run. like those “rent to own” scams. Local place wanted 2300$ in weekly payments over 2 years for a SWITCH. I was shocked when I read their flyer. That said, I don’t know MS’s plan, if they are willing to eat a lot of financing and development costs just to get a console in everyones homes, it might be an ok deal. But just saving and buying outright seems like its usually a far more economical idea. Not financing needless crap has long been the plot armor to my financial security. I doubt I’d break that rule for an X-box.
  2. Exactly. Thankfully it had some amazing games with excellent gameplay, because they looked terrible. M64 and OoT are still among the best games ever made, imo.
  3. Think im gonna start Rise of the Tomb Raider, as well as a bit more of my second play through of last of us 2, as I search for more collectibles.
  4. Whatever is obligated by their contract, im sure. Unless they committed criminal acts themselves, I didn’t read everything yet.
  5. I played the game on the second highest difficulty, with supplies on moderate. Thats good enough for me. I like hard, I hate beating my head against the wall.
  6. Its not that I don’t want it, its just that its not a factor in if I get it or not. the major thing I want from them is a robust online system like ms/sony
  7. See, I just don’t care about this. Im fine playing games on their original consoles.
  8. Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Super Smash Bro’s. There were plenty of other great games too, but my friends and I played those constantly
  9. They are way behind in power already. Nintendo doesn’t care what MS and Sony are doing. They never have.
  10. Ok, but when the fireflies have you on the table, we’re leaving you there. I don’t want no smoke from Abby.
  11. I started a second play through, which is very rare. I love playing this game. And I love blowing people up with explosive arrows.
  12. I know its not the point of this post, but I just want to take a moment to state Beyonce is about the the most stunningly attractive woman I have ever seen.
  13. Whoever thought it was smart to get in business with the biggest idiot in baseball to make a video game should be exiled from the world of man. i bought this game at launch and could just never get into it. It didn’t seem bad, I just had much better games to play.
  14. I f you do play the original, I suggest you play it on PC with thd New Threat mod installed. Its a much, much better game.
  15. I always wonder if there is something wrong with me, because ive never cried during a movie or a game. I just can’t get attached enough to pixels I guess. thst said Glad you enjoyed the game!
  16. I think a third with the same characters is overkill. We can’t only have these characters do the same thing over and over. Any new story with them would end up being reductive and detract from the series. Most things get worse as sequels drag on. Move on, do something new. I have no interest in a 3rd adventure with any of these characters. Thats just my opinion, though.
  17. So, I just completed Tha Last of Us and Left Behind. I never played It on PS4 before now, I beat it twice on PS3 but never picked it up again. First of all, for an early remaster, the game still looks really good for PS4 today. Second, while tLoU2 is a better game all around, especially in combat, the pacing of the original is much, much better. The game never dragged Anywhere, and there was always the right mixture of excitement and calm, letting you level off and explore between frantic fights. The sequel is still superior. I love how they took away any player agency, making you come along for the ride, more than an interactive participant in the story. But I also think the pairing of Ellie and Joel in the first game were fare far more fun and interesting than this game’s protagonists. The original is certainly a sweeter story, a gruff old man and scared but bright child finding family in each other. I don’t think anyone would argue Joel is a good guy, but the way he warms up to and comes to love Ellie was extremely well done, and Ellies bravery and willingness to do anything to save Joel, physically and spiritually just makes for an incredible adventure. The second game has almost none of that, but it still nails everything it attempts so perfectly. Aside from being a little drawn out in a couple of places, it feels pretty perfect. Ellie is a far different person this time around, and not near as likeable, by design. At the end of this game she’s in about the same place mentally that joel was at the beginning of the first, and it works so damn well. They definitely sent the PS4 out with one of best first party games in Sony history. And probably the third best direct sequel ive ever played. I just hops Neil Druckmann doesn’t decide we need a third and ruin this series. Make a new IP and move on. These two games serve as a perfect time capsule of the last decade of gaming, they don’t need more. They can’t improve on this. Im fine with another game in the same world, in another place or in the future, but it can’t be connected to these characters. I think they’d ruin it. They said what they have to say with these people.
  18. Last of Us (replaying the original) and Witcher 3 maybe.
  19. I meant from building to building, and don’t get me wrong, its one of my favourite games. I just always found the sideways running wonky. Especially as it relates to a few of harry’s station quests
