Thanks for the heads up, I picked this up for the Switch.

A fine idea in principle, but you do realize how dumb the average person is, right? And that half the people are dumber than that?

Yeah it's the color of the text that is impossible to read on some of them. I haven't looked at it on mobile yet to see whether it's better there, but on my desktop and laptop, anime, books, comics, and movies are all pretty much impossible to read. And before you ask, yes, I do have glasses, and yes, I'm wearing them.

I really like the idea of categories and wish that people had used tags to this effect before, but.... I think that the color scheme might need to be adjusted a bit, if possible. I find that some of those are really illegible. White on yellow? Yuck! That they're color-coordinated is great, that makes things really quick, but I wonder if some other text color might not be easier to read...

In my previous post I had forgotten that I was reading The Grapes of Wrath back in April, so I went back to that to finish it up. We read part of it in high school and I didn't remember how funny and vulgar the book is at times. I'm guessing maybe we read a censored version or something, in rural Idaho. Anyway I like the historical setting of it, as it was a fascinating time in American history. Sometimes I think Steinbeck becomes rather verbose (he goes into great detail to describe Tom Joad and Casey replacing a car part, for instance), but overall it's a fascinating snapshot of America in the 1930s. Last year I started reading East of Eden by Steinbeck and got distracted after reading about half of it and then forgot it in the US, but I was really enjoying it. I also read Of Mice and Men last year. I generally like his style, but the plodding westward journey of the Joads is getting on my nerves a little bit.

Yeah I watched that Chiron video and it's pretty insane. But $3 million for a car is ridic.

You can never replace the exact pictures you posted, true, but the appreciation of eye candy is eternal!

Is your insurance all paid up? Like others have said, I wouldn't mess around with electricity and potential fire hazards. Without someone actually looking at things in person I would be somewhat skeptical of any advice you might get from here. It seems best to let an electrician take a look.

I think just Super Smash Brothers Ultimate for Switch. I still have an enormous backlog and little time, but I can't pass up Smash.

I would guess that maybe its first few episodes will have decent buzz due to Roseanne's departure and people wanting to see in what direction the show goes without her, but yeah... I can't see this lasting all that long.

On the XBox theme, avatars seem to have a white background behind them. I specifically made my avatar a PNG with transparency so that it wouldn't have a white background. Any chance you could make the default avatar background color the same as the posts? Then transparency effects would work. Edit - just to make sure you know what I'm talking about: the white background behind my avatar here: is a part of the theme, it seems, because the image itself doesn't have that white background, as you can see here, when it's embedded on a black background: or here in a post, it takes on the color of the background: This doesn't seem to be the case on the other themes... on all of the other themes, the background color is the same as the post color.

Could you edit in a "volume warning" to your post? Bloody hell, my ears!

I agree, this should be an ongoing pinned thread. The one thing I don't quite understand is why in some of these videos people actually shouting "shame, shame!" at the person. That just makes me laugh, because it reminds me of the "witch" scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

That's awesome, man, congrats, that must be such a rewarding feeling! How many people were able to play your game? Were they able to provide some useful feedback as well?
