I’ve only seen the 2nd movie one (in theatre) and absolutely hated it. I remember checking my phone on the time several times throughout. Plus the Cuba thing had me throw my hands up and say “ SURE! WTF NOT!” I like big dumb fun action movies but this one was just big and dumb.

Kind of with you on being scared to play the game, but it also doesn’t look like my type of game either. Friend from school, also my comp-tech teacher’s daughter. Didn’t really keep in touch after HS, but my buddies did. She got engaged and after a year or two called it off. Her fiancé got addicted to WoW, stopped going to his university classes and hardly went out to socialize. I remember my brother playing for hours at a time while we shared a room together, and chatting it up with his buddies at the same time. They were on almost as much as him from all the yelling/swearing coming from our room

I believe one (D.C. Case, I think) was given the go ahead to head for trial because charges occurred before the 6 months window of the election.

I kinda think he let the attack play out, to help justify more action in Ukraine. Sad thing is that they didn’t seem to find the guys yet and I believe more attacks were possible to happen within weeks. No matter who takes the blame/responsibility for the attack, Ukraine will always be the ones to blame. Shit is going to get real hot out there, real soon

WONKA (4K/ATMOS) 2.75/5 I knew they were going to do a few musical numbers, but the movie is a musical. I think that kinda threw me off a little. Some songs were good and played around with a few familiar notes, but nothing I remember by heart like the classic. The movie just never picked up the pace, sure a few good moments, but overall slow. Maybe I’m also a little bias because a) it’s really playing into the Gene Wilder classic and b) I had high hopes because of Paul King. What he did for the 2 Paddington films are pure magic and never reached the same magic here. I did really enjoy Hugh Grant’s Oompa-Loompa. The disc looked great and shares the same colouring of his 2 Paddington films. The ATMOS seemed overall active but watched with my mom and her new hearing aids. So I had the volume a little lower than what I would have preferred. Might give it another viewing with my nieces and wounded if my thoughts will change a bit.

They have a studio just west of Toronto. I’m on indeed a,ways seeing if something better work wise is out there. Anyways they are always looking for animation/motion cap help and has been consistent for 6+ months.

Trailer looks good and I love the dark gittiness look still being kept from The Batman. Plus it looks like Colin is loving playing this character and wanting a bigger role in a Batman world.

I watched the first 2 episodes last night and it was a hit of nostalgia. Some of the voices sound older but still great to hear. The animation works out better than I thought with the more classic early season look, and not the weird crappy shitty animated stuff by the last original season. As for X-Men going woke, well “News Flash” folks. The series has always been a parallel line to being gay/different but still looking for acceptance in society. Plus it does a great job of just continuing/expanding the story from the original series. Wonder if they’ll get a cameo again from our 90’s Spider-Man, or Captain America from that Logan flashback episode Oh, at least on Disney+ Canada. They had the first season up for Spectacular Spider-man again

Just got home from work, had a toke or 3 and consumed this FUCKING AMAZING SHIT!!! Hemsworth looks like Thor, like come on, and what the fuck with his voice sometimes. I don’t know about it, but he seems to be having a fucking blast in his own backyard with the role. Can’t wait to see this and hear it in Atmos sound

First car I ever bought was used and I spent $11k for the car and the same in repairs. Once I got it paid off, I traded in for $250 (Chrysler Cirrus 2000, 123,000km) Bought new a 2008 Escape because I was covered bumper to bumper for 5 years or 80k/km, and had a battery die within 2 years. Also got rear ended good for a total of, well, my first car. Traded in for $2500 (damage was completely repaired at their fault, but would be on car fax) Anyways I went and got the 2013 Escape redesign. Engine had to be completely replaced because of an oil leak issue into the main engine itself. So it was sent back to Detroit, new engine free, and got rear ended again ($6k damage) Ever since then I’ve switched to leasing, because I get the latest safety tech included and I’m covered again because I don’t drive much, well anymore since I left Pepsi. So long winded story, I say lease new and know that your covered for almost anything that goes wrong with the vehicle. I’m currently in 2022 Ford Bronco Sport (Outer Banks Edition) It’s boxier then my ‘16, and ‘00 Escapes, and more like the ‘08 Escape (which I kinda like) Also like that the whole backing of my back seats and trunk have a rubber mat attached to them. Very handy when set flat for the dogs, and my newest guy has car sickness a lot. No idea what the cost is down there, but might be worth looking into the Broncos. I have heated front seats, wireless charging, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Sync 3. Plus I got the driver side windows tinted and are a godsend sometimes
