This is where we need that amazing Tap your Helmet and challenge the pitch technology like they had in spring training. Well, just use it instead of Hernandez at least. Had him already for one Jays game and he was his typical laughable calls self. Even my broadcasters started the game mentioning that we can expect an interesting game either way with Him calling the game behind the plate.

Watched the 1st episode last night and really enjoyed. I have never played the series, but have seen my younger brother play it briefly years ago. That opening sequence was great and god bless Goggins. Like the look and the weird humour we are getting and look forward to more of it hopefully tonight.

i’m with you on that. I hate the combo taste, but will take a peanut butter slice/sandwich. I’m not a big jam fan, but Strawberry jam with some chunks in it is what I like. Although as a kid, my mom made a good chunk of our strawberry jams during the summer. I was usually throwing her jam and mixing it with my Vanilla ice cream for a strawberry sundae instead of a PB&J

O.J. Simpson Dead From Cancer at 76

So god finally found him guilty of murder, and finally gave him a death sentence. Loved you in Naked Gun but maybe it was because he was constantly being hurt in the movies. So long asshole -
We had clouds all day until about 2:50, and some clear spots appeared. I had totality for almost a full minute. The temperature dropped like a rock, the solar/street lights around my neighbourhood came on. Seagulls just all of a sudden “Mine, Mine, Mine” out of nowhere and stopped shortly afterwards. We still had some clouds during totality but still got to witness. The pink flares were very cool to see and the solar flares in general.

So these fucking idiots don’t know what DOGS are and what they do?!? Oh boy, Stephen King can soon have Cujo moved to a new section on the bookshelves. Is this how The Walking Dead starts because we become so anti-vex we just let the apocalypse happen? Instead of getting a shot in the arm for a cure, it’s a shot to the head. Which almost seems like the cure for some idiots right now

Loved the last episode and all the “cameos” Mark had on his journey. I like what it’s building up, but this season just felt very disjointed for me. Last years it was a pretty simple A to B plot with fun little side stories/events. This year I felt the bad guy was lacking the presence of bad things to come. Got blips at the end of an episode of 2, but from there to the last episode results felt too big of a jump to warrant the confrontation we got. Almost seems like they needed to build him up as a baddie a little more and wouldn’t have minded seeing more of his journey. Still the episode was tense and great character moments on the toll they go through. I was just happy to see

Finished it a few days ago and really enjoyed it. Fn of the movie and I think it works even better here in the tv format. Get to see the cogs spinning from everyone and everywhere, but at a slightly easier pace. It really allowed the character breathing room to establish who/what kind of person they are. Loved the last episode and really do hope we get a 2nd season. Will also admit to watching this high as fuck an episode at a time. I felt a little like Freddie with the slightest bit of tension feeling just a bit tighter than it should have been. Kinda added to the experience in all honesty

Yeah my mom was online right away to verify the ones I bought and are legit. They have some code along the one arm to verify. Looking at the Amazon glasses linked, pretty sure they’re the exact same ones

@Brick I got my glasses yesterday at my local Canadian Tire store. On display when you walk in with adult and kids sizes available. Plus they’re only $4

Movies Dolby Vision will be coming to more cinemas
silentbob replied to sblfilms's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Wonder what/if Canada's biggest theatre chain Cineplex will do. We have several “Premium” theatres called AVX theatres. Reclining seats, some D-Box seating, Atmos sound and slightly bigger screen. We pretty much finished the 35mm to digital projectors conversion about 10-11 years ago. I don’t think they can convert the halogen bulb systems to laser, but who knows. I was told they could be upgraded via chip from 2k - 4k, but I doubt they’d do it cause of cost (even if free) @sblfilmsis there a license fee to pay to play/run Dolby Vision/Atmos at you theatres? Maybe a Lucas thing, but there was a fee to advertise you could run THX 20 years ago at least. We qualified for sound (even too a couple trailers, after the digital change) but Famous Players (Viacom company which was sold to Cineplex) didn’t want to pay the fee back then. -
THE GENTLEMEN: SEASON ONE (NETFLIX) 4.25/5 I really liked the series, and the overall cast of the show. I was a fan of the movie that inspired the movie and works on pretty much the same premise, but more from the bosses perspective of the business. I liked seeing the muscle/growers of the operation as well. Well you got the muscle in the movies as well, but I like the smaller group here. I really liked/hated the tension of the show because they could easily go one way of the other at the snap of a finger. I also really hope we get a 2nd season of the show. It has been left W - I - D - E open for it, and believe it’s done well enough. viewer wise to warrant a 2nd season.

Movies New Matrix Movie In The Works
silentbob replied to skillzdadirecta's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
I wouldn’t mind more of the universe. I enjoyed Resurrection for the approach it took and possible future again. Although I would like to see something near the beginning or something involving “the one’s” that came before. Go like fucking Avatar: The Last Airbender and have their knowledge downloaded and passed down to the next. -
I’m total eclipse for 44.9secs around 3:18pm. Working until 2:30 that day, and gotta remember sunglasses for driving home, and hopefully get a pair of glasses for viewing. They got highway signs warning drivers not to really drive during that time.
