It likely is great, especially if it's being directly compared to the masterpiece that was BoTW. As a longtime fan I only get skeptical with hype because every 3D Zelda game gets effusive praise regardless of quality. Twilight Princess wasn't a bad game but it wasn't the pinnacle of the franchise either, which is what a number of the early reviews were calling it. Sadly didn't get into BoTW until over a year or two after its release date so looking forward to experiencing this one alongside everyone else.

Nintendo Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp [Coming April 21, 2023]
Kamusha replied to Keyser_Soze's topic in The Spawn Point
Sold my Switch a few years ago when I was broke and desperately needed the cash. Bought a new Switch again a few weeks ago and was worried I would have to rebuy the games I had already bought digitally and was pleasantly surprised by how easy they were to redownload without paying for them. 60 is very steep for this kind of game but I did not know about the voucher system and think this would be a great game to use that for.- 107 replies

Fuck, I tried to be skeptical because you can never tell with a new Zelda release if the anticipation is warranted but I think I have officially given myself into the hype. I was much more into the exploration of BoTW than I was the physics puzzle aspect so I am a little worried this may focus more on the later, but I'll find out soon enough I suppose. I hope I don't have insomnia again tonight but if I do I'm playing this right at midnight.

General Entertainment Disney+ and Hulu are combining.
Kamusha replied to CastletonSnob's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
I know one of Chapek's goals with Disney + was to change the image of it being a service for only kids. That's why you have shit like the Deadpool now. It seems like this image-rebrand is continuing under Iger. -
CNN Hosting Trump Town Hall on May 10th
Kamusha replied to BloodyHell's topic in The Political Re-Education Camp
It's amazing how little lessons we learned from the first time around. I have leftist friends who are already starting to treat Trump like an entertaining joke again. People are getting really complacent and not treating him like the viable threat that he is. -
I kept my apple watch on during sex once and put it into exercise mode before the sexy times began. It was fun seeing where my heart rate raised and lowered. You can even see it dip at the point where we had to switch positions.

Prime Minister Party Girl is single again.
Kamusha replied to Jason's topic in The Political Re-Education Camp
I've made this joke before but goddamnit I'll make it again. More like Fineland, amirite? -
No, there should not be a Florida mega thread. Mega threads are best for collecting smaller stories that do not constitute their own threads - Florida man stories are a good example of this. I'm fine with keeping all of the DeSantis vs Disney news in its own contained thread. There are just so many noteworthy stories coming from Florida and a megathread would minimize the importance of the individual stories themselves. Also a Florida megathread would quickly devolve into everyone ganging up and feeling superior over Florida which is really not helpful right now for any one who still has to live here.

Movies Meg 2: The Trench trailer
Kamusha replied to Remarkableriots's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
The first movie absolutely needed to be rated R to fully pull off that thrashy b-movie vibe it was going for. This one looks even more ridiculous than the first but it would be a bummer if they went PG-13 again. -
General Entertainment So WTF, is Jamie Foxx going to die?
Kamusha replied to Derek's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Don't keep up with tabloid news - had no idea this was a thing. Doesn't seem like the nicest guy but he's undeniably a talented actor with movie star presence. -
This is a perfect fascist bill. The headline it generates is shocking as intended, but the details of the bill itself are worded in a way that gets moderates to argue about the value it does accomplish. So as this gets debated it becomes the new normal setting the stage for a more extreme bill in the near future. Just look at how Don't Say Gay created a huge outcry by banning LGBT lessons up till 3rd grade and then a year later is expanded to include all grades and barely makes ripple.

You weren't being flippant in this thread. And I do agree there is a difference, as a comedian myself I constantly use humor as a way to cope. But you can tell a difference in who is being flippant to cope and who is being flippant because they don't give a shit about trans people having their rights taken away.

I'm expected to die for my kids yet in Florida I'm treated as a groomer attempting to indoctrinate this children. This is teacher appreciation week yet I couldn't feel less wanted for what I do.

As a middle school teacher I have received tourniquet training already but due to our state's new "Parental Rights" law I'm unable to give students even a simple Band-Aid unless their parents have been notified ahead of time. Go figure.

As far as post-Toy Story 4 Pixar goes Lightyear was easily the worse of that bunch. Luca and Onward were pretty decent and had their moments, but of those two I think I prefer Luca for it's visuals and Miyazaki influence. Both are enjoyable enough that I wouldn't write them off if you're a Pixar fan. But Turning Red was straight-up excellent. Felt like a breath of fresh air for a studio that has fallen into something of a stylistic rut.

Politics are really depressing right now for any sane Floridian. If you think it's bad having to read about it imagine actually living here. This dancing incident is infuriating that fed-up Floridians and every one of them should lose their jobs. This is dire and reacting to it by dancing is a message that they aren't taking any of this seriously.

Not exactly but I'm in a better place than I was a year or two ago and hopefully will continue to gradually improve.

There is no worse live music on earth than bad jazz
Kamusha replied to Fizzzzle's topic in The Shower
The worst jazz I've heard live was still halfway decent. I've yet to experience some mind-blowing live jazz but I am down.
