Sorry guys. I’m quitting caffeine cold turkey this week and the withdrawals are making me sometimes slip into bitch mode. Well, more so than I usually do.

I mean, why does it matter? That really was the main point of my initial post. You only quoted my first paragraph, which was intended as more of a joke (hence the emoticon). The second paragraph is more what acually concerns me. These debates have been happening for over a half a year and haven’t gone anywhere. I also post on the Vestibule where it’s much more poplar to hate on TLJ and I just avoid discussing it because it obviously isn’t going anywhere. It seems like anytime a TLJ makes any sort of remark or a boycott, the fans go crazy. The thing is I actually expect more of the users who typically argue in favor of TLJ,l. Wade has even asked you guys many times to stop. "To argue with a man who has renounced the use and authority of reason, and whose philosophy consists in holding humanity in contempt, is like administering medicine to the dead, or endeavoring to convert an atheist by scripture. Enjoy, sir, your insensibility of feeling and reflecting. It is the prerogative of animals. And no man will envy you these honors, in which a savage only can be your rival and a bear your master." - Thomas Paine

So what you’re saying is that you’re fine with letting them hate them, you just want to make sure they know they are in the minority and that their opinion doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. I dunno, I just don’t care anymore. These discussions have been happening for over half a year now and I think if TLJ haters were capable of changing their minds it would have happened a long time ago. If they want to think they are in the majority then let them.

Doesn’t A- translate to just okay? I’m not an expert on this sort of thing, so someone can correct me. The last one scored an A. Solo scored an A- and didn’t have the best legs...

At 99% on Rotten Tomatoes this is the best reviewed movie of the summer. This movie was getting a lot of hype while on the festival circuit and after seeing it last week I can gladly confirm this documentary lives up to the hype. I say this with no exaggeration that it was one of the most profound movies I’ve seen in a while. I cried many times even though nothing particularly sad happens, but also felt lifted up at the same time. I walked out wanting to be a better person, and over a week later that feeling has stuck with me. With all of the negativity in the world these days there is something powerful about seeing an uncommonly decent man do the right thing for decency sake and succeed because of it. Even if you typically don’t catch documentaries in a theater, this is absolutely a must see.

The word of mouth for Jurassic World 2 is not good based on what I’ve heard from my friends and family. But I actually liked it better than the last one (which I really did not like). It’ll be interesting to see how it does in long run.

I loved The Last Jedi but am also completely fine letting people dislike it. I guess I'm weird like that.

Movies Incredibles 2 (open spoilers discussion)
Kamusha replied to ort's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
I was pretty down on it but I also saw it while sick which may have led me to be harsher on it than I normally would. It's definitely doesn't have that perfect screenplay that the first did and never really justifies its existence I know some movie fans are complaining about Pixar making unnecessary sequels and unfortunately this is part of the problem. -
That makes sense haha. But in general I find the changing username thing on D1P to be weird and confusing. It's not just you. It took me a few years to finally figure out Riley's new username.

I love Fright, but why does he keep changing his name? I had trouble figuring it who SaysWho was at first because he doesn't even have an icon yet. I figured it was him because of how often he changes usernames, but still. Weird.

I've been using it since October and it's great. Earlier this week I was curious about how much money it's actually saving me. So far this year I've seen an average of 4 movies a months. At 12 dollars a ticket that's about 48 dollars a month I would be spending if I didn't use MoviePass. Now of course I am seeing more movies than I normally would be, but that's part of the point. I absolutely love the theatrical experience but until recently high ticket prices have kept me from going as often as I'd like to.

That was probably the first time Melania has worn a 39 dollar jacket since marrying Trump.
