Cloud saves are a per developer thing not a standard across all of steam. I remember playing Euro Truck Simulator and I had to put my save on a thumb drive for a long time. They somewhat recently (in the last couple of years) incorporated cloud saves I believe.

I think the first one I picked up was Tales of Vesperia on the 360. (I checked my Email to get this story straight) So I picked it up back in the day as part of that Toys R Us buy 2 get 1 free deals. I never opened it and sold it off and bought the Xbox 360 version digitally on sale for like $5. Still did not play it and now I have Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition on steam. I also picked up Tales of Xillia 1 &2 and Graces on sale on the PS3 (didn't play them either) and I have Symphonia, Zestiria and Berseria on steam. So I played none of them. Why didn't I play them? I dunno, blacklogs and such I suppose 🤷‍♀️

I've never played a Tales game despite owning a handful of them. I decided to try Tales of Destiny just to see it on the deck. Now I'm wondering why these games weren't more popular. It certainly has an interesting battle system. People who hated turn based battles should have really checked out these games.

Turns out I had missed a key NPC at Liurnia of the Lakes and yadda yadda yadda I finally made it to Volcano Manor proper now #stillgoing

Their music always sucked so it was easy for me. It's kind of like shitty people at work, it's pretty easy to disengage or disassociate from them and never speak to them again. Or some "friend" you know who's a POS, it's easy to not engage with that person ever. It's the same thing with music and movies. There are millions of artists and movies who aren't that thing that could easily fill that void. It's not as hard as people make it seem to be.
