  1. Looks good! It feels weird that every new trailer I watch, I get this strong curiosity toward the end about how and when it's releasing. It used to always be "In theaters - - - -". Now with Covid and theaters, it's like hmm I wonder what service this is gonna be on. Doesn't feel natural.
  2. Sign me up for the extra crispy version
  3. The last time I put time into a GT was one on the PS4. The only racing game to ever put me to sleep! (I would mostly play at night due to kids, and the light elevator music in the GT menus put me to sleep multiple times).
  4. I'm convinced they don't want people to actively buy/impulse buy games on the PS5 from the store. The deals section does not come up there. You'll find a half ass ps+ exclusives list but not the main one. When a new deal starts like Black Friday or an end of the year sale, I'm pretty sure you will see a banner for it on the PS5 store one time. After that it never shows up again and you have to search for each individual game. Just grabbed Man of Medan is on sale for $9.89.
  5. I remember Devil May Cry 4 being so repetitive with the boss battles. I forget the exact scenarios. But by the 3rd or 4th time fighting the same people I said screw it.
  6. My PS5 sits on a shelf a little bigger than the one Chris posted and it's been fine so far. Hoping as long as it can exhaust the air out the back it should be fine. I never hear the fans kick up so its good for now. We'll see come summer.
  7. According to Wikipedia: "Cyberpunk 2077 was announced in May 2012. Trailers for the game were released in January 2013, at E3 2018, and at E3 2019. The game was initially confirmed for Microsoft Windows, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One announced at E3 2018. Stadia was announced in August 2019." So in my head I'm thinking they probably started out as a pc only game. Due to the success of The Witcher 3 smack dab in the middle of this time period(2012-2020) they got an influx of investors and money. Got talked into expanding into releasing on consoles as well. By the end, they ran out of time and all versions suffered.
  8. I don't have an exact answer, I just know it's a fucking mess. I downloaded Modern Warfare the other night just for regular multiplayer. Was really surprised how much I ended up downloading. They have everything so separated I quickly grabbed all the multilayer packs in the list and still couldn't play. Then realized there was 2 or 3 data packs I hadn't downloaded until I read the description. Something like "these data packs are needed to play campaign, multiplayer, and warzone". With the high res texture pack and everything but campaign and Spec Ops I'm sitting at 159GB on ps5
  9. Console games sure are on a downward trend. They used to release completely finished. Then they were able to be patched to iron out bugs. Then a day one patch to make the game more playable. Then a day one update that could add whole sections of unfinished game. Now they are resorting to putting early access builds on disc and saying "hey guys it's gonna be a while but here's something!".
  10. I remember reading at launch one of the kotaku editors is purposefully leaving their ps5 upside down. I don't remember if Sony had an official comment either way. Shouldn't hurt it.
  11. @stepeeyou are not alone: Even The Head Of PlayStation Studios Has His PS5 Upside Down KOTAKU.COM The PS5 is a strange-looking console. Lots of curves and swoops. It’s easy to accidentally set it up the wrong way, which is exactly what Hermen Hulst, the head of PlayStation Studios, seems to...
  12. I don't think I've had a crash yet. I don't use an external hard drive and I dont use rest mode. Like others have mentioned before, the confusion of trying to download the PS5 version of a game is RIDICULOUS and bothers me the most.
  13. I joined in December 2010. Think I was getting on a plane when I got a message from someone on the IGN boards talking about joining bad cartridge. It doesn't feel like that long ago to me. But a shit ton of life sure did happen since. Look at all those different topics! https://web.archive.org/web/20110120183226/http://www.badcartridge.com/
  14. I'm 33 years old and the only Italian wedding soup I've ever tried is some Campbell's Soup brand. I REALLY need to try homemade sometime.
  15. I saw somebody on reddit made this. I don't know how perfect it is but it could help if you let it run in a tab in a browser. Do that on top of every other alert you can sign up for. https://www.reddit.com/r/PS5/comments/k6xoe0/made_a_bot_to_detect_ps5_restocking/
