Trying to think about account management makes my head spin with consoles. I put the ps4 pro in my son's room. I can be logged on to my account there and the PS5 at the same time with no problem. He can play any game on my account but we can't play the same game at the same time. When I loaded up Apex on my ps4 and then ps5, a message came up on the PS4 saying something about logging in somewhere else and it was going to close the game. My son's account is just some sub account of mine. I guess since Apex is free to play, he could download it himself and play on his account and we are able to play together no problem.

That guy took a hard impact into the barrier and then was engulfed in flames for like 30 seconds. He got so lucky.

I'm still using Astro A50's from like 2012 or 2013. They are black with red coloring. I'm looking for another option with the PS5 though. Since there is no optical port I would need to buy some HDMI adapter to use them. Problem is the adapter is only as good as HDMI 2.0 or something but my tv is new and can take advantage of 2.1. Not sure what I want now. I have the Playstation Gold headset but I can't find the stupid USB dongle. With enough digging I might be able to find it. There were some razr kraken tournament headphones on sale for like $55 the other day. I think i read correctly if you plug headphones directly into the PS5 controller, that will give you the new fancy 3D audio they are hyping up. So I might look for headphones that just plug right in.

I had to do a lot of driving yesterday with work. All the highways were filled with out of state drivers. Hell, my own street is filled with out of state visitors right now. Neighbor across the street has family from New York visiting. 2 house down they have family from Virginia.

My console has randomly turned itself on twice now. One time I walked into the living room it beeped and started up. The only controller was sitting next to the console so nobody bumped it. The next night at like 12:30am I layed down in bed and a minute later heard the beep again. Come out to the living room and it's sitting on the login screen. I then definitely clicked turn off ps5 because the screen came up saying the console is shutting down. When I woke up in the morning, the console had the orange light glowing like it's in rest mode. Normal?

Control Ultimate Edition for $20 is tempting. I had bought the regular edition for $20 a month or two ago and haven't played it. Spend the $20 now and wait until they release the PS5 patch. In total I will have spent $40 but with both expansions and the PS5 update it will have been worth it.

I still need to give my ps5 a permanent spot, currently it's just sitting on the top shelf of the tv stand. Kind of just sitting out in the open right now. Everytime I walk into the room, I hate it a little more . The one side is totally flat, and the front/bottom has too many curves with the floating look. It was totally designed to be stood vertical.

So I only had a little time to mess around with the PS5 since it was delivered yesterday. Not much else I can say that hasn't been echoed many times. I do love it, but the ui feels unfinished to me. Is there no way to customize a theme or anything? Maybe after a few updates things will be better. My only other complaint is the disc drive. I need to hear some impressions from you all that have it. The PS5 is whisper quiet but I put a 4k movie in and it's loud as fuck. It doesn't sound like the drive is faulty. When you first hear it you almost think "man that's a strong disc drive". It kind of sounds like a solid vibration inside the PS5, beading directly into the shelf of the tv stand. I lifted the console up off the shelf carefully and it continued to do it, so I know it's not the shelf. It does stop once the movie is playing, but while it's loading up going through the menus it's very noticeable. Do your drives sound similar? Edit: console is laying horizontal.

I also liked Predators. It was dumb fun. At this point as much as I like the concept of Predator, I don't feel like the character of the Predator is very interesting. There's only a few ingredients that make up the predator. Big bad alien with camo, a spear, shoulder mounted laser, and clickity clack noises. Been there done that.

I agree. But in my area, a lady in the school district posted an update pretty much saying out of the few students that are testing positive, almost all are being traced back to getting infected from other family members or social gatherings outside of school. I'm sure it won't stay that way for long, but it was a little reassuring for now anyways.

The PS5 order I got through last week is already on its way. Walmart originally said Nov 28th I think, and now the FedEx tracking says this Friday the 20th

I've only ever lived in PA so I think cars with front license plates look goofy. I do think cars should have to have license plates in the front though. In the event of a crime or accident, it would be an extra option to id the person if they took off or something.

I feel like the last 3-4 years or so has been rough trying to future proof with a new TV. Went from 4k,to 4k HDR-but some of the early HDR tv's don't even look that good. Now if you just bought a nice oled from a year or two ago, you still might be missing out on what the new consoles are fully capable of.

I've mentioned it before but I bought a new TV kind of on a whim, and a month later it turned out to be one Sony said is "Ready for Playstation 5". Sony X90H. It got the firmware a few weeks before the PS5 release that its ready for 4k 120hz. I'm interested to try it out when my console gets here.
