  1. @Chairslinger It’s easy to get trapped in cable companies bullshit. I went the nuclear option once and canceled the service all together, waited 30 days then opened the account in my wife’s name. Got their best deal for “new customers only”. For 30 days we just used our phones for internet and watched over the air tv. Wasn’t that bad.
  2. Even more confusing for me. I think I upgraded my phone with Verizon a year ago and there was a promotion where you get the Disney/Hulu/espn bundle with it. I have no idea for how long or how the price change affects me.
  3. Do you owe more than it's worth? The smartest move would be too sell the car for whatever you can get. If it means taking a loss than so be it.
  4. I had a wireless earbud in my ear at the time and it fucking blasted my eardrum at full volume.
  5. I imagine with only 2,500 of them being made, a majority are long gone. They were probably used and trashed. Keep us updated if you come across any value. I'm definitely interested to see if you have something worthwhile on your hands.
  6. Car batteries are expensive these days. I’ve had to buy 2 batteries over this past year and they were both $200-240 each. So that with oil change and labor sounds about right for the price. That time you had to wait sounds horrible though.
  7. She made a post a week or two ago about voting that drove 35,000+ people to register to vote. Now every brand is jumping on the Taylor wagon trying to ride the wave. Guessing Taylor Swift articles get all the clicks online.
  8. I don’t miss those days. I have a 9 and 11 year old and it’s been smooth sailing! I’ll take any attitude and emotion bs they try to sling my way. I’m getting my sleep so I’m happy.
  9. There’s always so much praise and love for The Office, but I remember by the time the show ended, it had already more than over stayed it’s welcome. Storylines that seemed too far fetched and characters doing things out of character. Bringing back the show in this day and age….. ehhh I don’t know. Not big on the idea.
  10. I feel you. I got cold symptoms 3 days ago and so far it’s been lots of stuffy nose and minimal cough. My son got the same symptoms but with muscle aches 2 days ago. At home Covid tests came back negative. Thankfully it’s a rainy weekend so we’re all just hanging out relaxing.
  11. @Fizzzzle My friends brother has an uncle who said to get a torrent, they have to reach out to another galaxy. Maybe put a .to at the end. I heard it’s not as good as rarbg but it’s something i guess.
  12. This is Microsoft’s new disc-less Xbox Series X design with a new gyro controller - The Verge WWW.THEVERGE.COM Microsoft’s mid-cycle Xbox Series X refresh has a whole new shape You can go through the 21 pages there. Quite the leak!
  13. @Brick my favorite mental gymnastic I commonly see is when someone puts their turn signal on to switch lanes, the person currently in that lane hits the gas to speed up and not let the person over. Person switches lane anyway so other person now has to slam on brake. Like you just wasted gas and brakes for literally no reason and now you’re tailgating the person out of anger
  14. The past week I feel like I’ve seen way more bad drivers than usual. At different times on Friday, I had 3 people drift into my lane over the yellow line like their trying to head on me. On the highway I watched some piece of shit speed on to the shoulder of the highway, speed past 2 cars and whip 2 lanes over. The only reason an accident didn’t happen was because everybody else was slamming on their brakes. People need to pay attention and chill the fuck out.
  15. Wow I didn’t know it was that bad. From 2015: Deryck Whibley had to re-learn to walk after alcohol collapse WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK 'Partying like that becomes the norm, that’s all you know and you don’t see any way around it' “Almost died 5 times when his liver and kidneys collapsed”.
  16. Damn that’s sad. He’s looked pretty frail a lot through life. It mentioned bad bronchitis and back injuries over the years. That party life didn’t help.
  17. Scary stuff and I’m glad it worked out. It’s weird how life works sometimes. You’re having car problems so you quickly get off the exit. Now that exit leads to you almost getting smashed by a huge truck. Like wtf. The car trouble wasn’t bad enough? Good on you for being observant though.
  18. I’ll add to that with the horror genre. I don’t have a lot of examples off the top of my head but one that sticks with me is the remake of the killer clown movie “It”. Just didn’t find it scary with all the effects they chose to use. Some of it looked like something out of a video game.
  19. I’ve been kind of turned off with a lot of vfx that’s been put into movies and shows the last few years. So much of it is too over the top and just looks like people standing in green screen room. Could just be nostalgia, but I find myself enjoying and appreciating older movies a lot more.
  20. Sounds like that makes sense. At the moment I haven’t been doing much training or lifting. I’ve had some rough physical work days week to week. Mix that with knee pain caused by a recent Lyme disease diagnosis. I’ve felt a lot of relief since starting the cold plunge.
  21. I think you’re right about the marketing team being on drugs @best3444, that commercial was…something.
