I just spent the last 15 minutes or so trying to catch up on who Kang is in the comics, his powers, variants and such. Honestly don’t think I have the energy for this anymore. It’s too complicated and I just don’t find it that interesting. It’s cool Marvel can translate the multiverse concept of comic books to movies, but i just can’t seem to find the excitement in it.

Still waiting on my Portal. Amazon said delivery between 16-20th. Now that changed to “Arriving by Wednesday” which is the 20th. Hasn’t showed any sign of moving or shipping. Just feels like a real generic term so I’m hoping it’s actually going to come this week if at all.

Even more crazy I saw posts from people claiming they were 14-17 years old. Their hormones are going crazy at that age. But they latched on to this idea that it’s masterbation that is ruining their lives. Not the fact that they are probably extremely depressed and lonely. If they want to quit something, they should start with “no internet” for a month. Sounds like their brains need a reset.

I had never heard of that subreddit before but yikes. People really fall down rabbit holes and get stuck in life.

Sounds rough. It’s definitely appreciated, even if you don’t usually get to hear people say it. We’re friends with 3 of the teachers at my daughter’s elementary school. They have some stories for sure. We felt bad for my daughter’s teacher last night. She had to type up basically a full page email, pertaining to almost the whole 4th grade misusing the school provided iPads. Kids are air dropping photos to each other, setting random timers to go off, etc…Just dumb stuff that now the it department has to further lock down and the teacher has to waste time with writing the email. You know ,when she’d much rather be focusing on her own 2 year old son at home.

I preordered the Pulse Elite headset a few weeks ago. Sucks it’s not out till February.

I once arrived to a customers house, a husband and wife probably 75-80 years old. The lady answered the door crying because she had just given a scammer all her info. Social security, bank account info, etc… The husband had walked in on the conversation and slammed the phone down. Then I’m knocking on the door a minute later. Felt pretty bad for her.

I remember things falling apart at IGN and I don’t quite remember who, but someone sent me a message about coming over to Bad Cartridge. I remember reading it on a plane ride to Florida.

Now I’m wondering if the kid in the car recorded the whole thing too. He probably would have tried to film her reaction.

I don’t know why I waited so long to watch this. Probably the most fun show I’ve watched in months. Loved Homelander showing up. You never know if its a good thing or maybe the most frightening I want more!!

Also the body cam and security footage may not have been readily available, which really drives home the absurdity of the situation. The local newspaper story goes from “student leaving school on motorcycles gets hit” to this……situation.

Tick borne illnesses can fuck right off. I’ve had knee problems for close to 2 years and finally found out a few months ago it was Lyme disease. Did 2 months of oral antibiotics and I’m still not happy with where I’m at. Might need to see a specialist or give it more time.

Saw this was from a few days ago. Not sure if anyone else caught this crazy ass story. A teen wanted to ask his girlfriend to prom. So he had a bright idea. Have the girlfriend in the car, and he is going to blow through a stop sign on school property. The school resource officer is going to pull them over….and suddenly it’s a happy prom proposal! They made sure to clear it with the principal and resource officer beforehand. All is well, until they ran over another student on a motorcycle at 40mph…

We were walking around the mall a few weeks ago and I went into GameStop with my son. I’m looking around realizing there is nothing in this store that I want or need. My son is picking up games and he’s like “we should get this one when we get home”. His entire collection is all digital so to him this trip into the store is a flashy place with cool box art. I really wondered how many others are in a similar situation. Physical games can be absolutely pointless because you might have to download 30GB+ of data just to play. I wonder how many years GameStop has left before they start dropping physical locations all together.

If Lindsay Lohan couldn’t win her GTA V case, I don’t think this chump will get anywhere.

So do we think the game will really look that good on the current PS5/X series? Or is what we’re seeing more of a 2025 “pro version” of a console and super high end pc? I want to be hyped for it but now I’m wondering by 2025, will I also have to get a PS5 Pro to go all out with GTA6.

I’m just hoping for a smooth connection for singleplayer stuff. I even have the benefit of the master bedroom being on the first floor with the living room where the ps5 and router are. My kids are upstairs and get a decent connection. So this thing better work flawlessly when I’m laying in bed haha.

Got an order in this morning through Amazon. Not expected until Dec. 16-20th but just happy I can stop hunting them online. Brought back too many stressful memories of searching for the PS5.

Those were a surprise for me! My wife put the first one on a few years ago and I didn’t plan on watching it but then I couldn’t walk away. If anyone forgot it’s The Babysitter and The Babysitter: Killer Queen.

I tried watching this and gave up maybe 30-40 min in. I might try again. Just seemed really slow.

We visited family in Boca Raton, FL two years ago and the weather did that everyday we were there around 3-4pm. You could see the rain farther down the beach just working its way up to us. It would get dark as hell too. By 5pm it was all sunny again.
