I actually think Synecdoche, NY and Anomalisa are his most mature, most honest works. I love Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, and Eternal Sunshine more, but I think the former two are saying more and are "better" but the latter three are more entertaining and for slightly bigger mass consumption, since the works are easier and more straightforward to parse.

Math has already explained that the electoral college is 67% inherently in a Republicans favor. It's not the polls. So it's not per se the polls. https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2019/9/17/20868790/republicans-lose-popular-vote-win-electoral-college It's why, in part, Bush won in 2000 and why Trump won in 2016.

Television Archer S14 - The Final Season
Greatoneshere replied to Spork3245's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
This. Archer is still very funny, but the three coma seasons definitely varied in quality, with Danger Island being the best, Archer 1999 having some great episodes and some real weak ones, and then the Hollywood noir first coma season was meh. This new season dealing with the passing of three years and no Archer influence looks great. Both shows, particularly It's Always Sunny, are better than ever. -
I've been keeping an eye on this, if I can finish Control DLC fast enough (almost done) and Halo 3: ODST doesn't come out too soon (it may), I may get this as my in-between. Brings back major memories.

Nintendo 3D World Switch port + Bowser's Fury (new gameplay)

Ah, I see, this makes a lot of sense, appreciate it! So long as they have those games up there then. -
Television Update: RIP in Peace, Raised by Wolves
Greatoneshere replied to SimpleG's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Yep, you are correct - first three episodes drop all at once today (the first two directed by Ridley Scott himself, the third by his son, Luke Scott, who has done shorts for Ridley in the past) and the one new episode each week every Thursday. It also looks like it will be a ten episode season overall. https://decider.com/2020/09/03/raised-by-wolves-hbo-max-episode-4-release-date/ -
Both of these posts reflect my feelings on the film as well. It gets a bad rap, but maybe a re-edit could make it better. I actually prefer Apocalypse Now Redux (which I know is heresy) more than the original because it becomes, I think, a more complete, complex, and meditative film than the more straightforward 2/3's of the original film. The transition into the surreal last act is smoother, plus, I always love more footage explaining more things (but that's just me). So who knows.

Nintendo 3D World Switch port + Bowser's Fury (new gameplay)
Greatoneshere replied to crispy4000's topic in The Spawn Point
Thank you! This was all extremely informative and helpful. I'm a big emulation guy, it's a big reason I don't bother with Nintendo systems anymore (all Nintendo games look gorgeous in emulation, for the most part). No "on the go" aspect, which the Switch provides, but I'm not a big handheld guy anyway, my Switch would likely always remain docked. I don't necessarily think Mario requires 60fps, but I was curious why it just wouldn't be provided in a remaster. -
Just to be very clear: wanting someone to be a better person and have exhibited better judgment in their decision making and life choices IS NOT THE SAME, per se, as victim blaming. Sure, there's potential overlap one needs to be careful/wary of, but they are not the same thing. Trying to argue the two are the same is dangerous. A desire for others to exhibit even the most basic better judgment that one expects and wanting them to be a morally better person (in Sanders case) can't be hard to understand.

Nintendo 3D World Switch port + Bowser's Fury (new gameplay)

Ah, well, I haven't had a Nintendo system since the Wii, so that explains why I don't know. -
Nintendo 3D World Switch port + Bowser's Fury (new gameplay)

That's still SNES and GBA though! I wasn't sure, if so, that's good! That's good! But I don't see that to be the case on Nintendo's online shop (checking Nintendo's official website)? Seems Super Mario World is only on the 3DS and Wii U shops, not the Switch shop. As for Super Mario World 2, it seems to only be on the Wii U shop, not the Switch shop (nor 3DS shop). Still, should be part of the bundle at this point. And what about my other questions!? Edit: Note that both the Advance version and the original SNES version of both Super Mario World and Super Mario World 2 are on the Wii U shop. I don't see anything for Switch though.
