It'll fit* I have a GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 which is 5.6" wide compared to the reported 5.4" width of the 3090 and it fits in a 011 Dynamic, barely. The power cable does touch the side panel, although there are L- or U-shaped adapters that would solve that problem for me. *Note: not sure what the 12-pin power adapter Nvidia supplies with its cards will look like. If it's a big piece of rigid plastic then that is going to effectively add more width the card and not make it fit. If it's a flexible short cable, then you're fine. But you might have to take off the side panel into a variety of adapters hit the market.

I'll probably wait for the 3080 Super and hopefully it has more vram. But I'll monitor benchmarks closely to see if it's worth it and as new games use new features. Right I pretty much get 100 fps with a 1080 Ti in the games I need it to.

It seems like they are really cheaping out on VRAM size. Are they counting on RTX-I/O or AI compression to make up the difference? I mean the 1080 Ti has 11GB while the 3080 will only have 10. For the same price!

It would actually be great if the #saveourchildren movement didn't have to continuously compare itself to BLM and Covid. They complain BLM and Covid get too much attention, yet they also keep giving it more attention by bringing up the comparison.

I have no problem with the use of DLC in this fashion. If the developer is going to continuously update the game there should be a means for people to pay them for it. Costumes, customization, and achievements (battle passes) are superfluous. These are things you can ignore and still experience the full game experience. But for people who enjoy gathering those things, the option is there for them to do so. But an interesting, idealistic (and currently unrealistic) use of micro transaction experience could be tied to the actual coders who don't get a fucking union. Like giving your waitress a tip, buying a costume or other micro transaction puts money directly into the people's pockets who were responsible for making that particular piece of code.
